worfoz Yes, A word in Arabic can have many meanings. But the meaning has to fit in the context and make sense. And just so you know, Mohammed ( PBUH ) Was unlettered and illiterate. He was born in the pagan Quraysh, so he didn't know the stories of the prophets either. And Qur'an was a verbal revelation meaning the words were put into Mohammed ( PBUH )'s mouth and were immediately written down by the companions of the prophet and memorized by both. So how did the palindromes and the unique figures of speech happen if It was written by an unlettered man in the midst of a town in a desert. And this is important.... why? It doesn't make it true. It just means that people memorise it. There is huge cultural pressure to memorise it and to keep the text 'pure'. But that says nothing about the quality of the text. Its even worse when people are just memorising it in another language other than their own tongue. The miracle would be if your god could make me know the Quran inside out perfectly in my own mother tongue without me ever having seen the book. Not just me, but all humanity so that we would not have an excuse for not knowing it perfectly. That would be a true miracle of the quran. Too bad its not so.

And afterward, God had Jesus make the rest of creation including us. But God existed before anyone else, the only one who wasn't created. Makkah - was by no means a city in the cradle of a civilization - far from it. However to term it as middle of the desert is equally incorrect. - - As to what I would call it? Then, would also claim he was well aware of science of the time and this what the vague and general scientific references of the time are. As for your second point, Mecca is a city located in the Sirat Mountains in Saudi Arabia, about 45 miles from the port of Jeddah or Jidda as it's sometimes called. This city in a narrow valley known as Abraham, and has various entrances giving access from such places as Yemen, Mina, Arafat and Ta'if. In other words, it's located in a "remote" area where conditions are harsh. That's why i stated "in a middle of a desert." To argue against your last point, in Islam we believe in all the previous religions and messengers and prophets. If we don't then we are not Muslims. Since every Abrahamic religion came from the same god, and preached the same thing, of course Islam is going to have similar teachings. You may be wondering, then why chose Islam and the quran and not say for example Christianity? Well, today's modified Christianity has many contradictions and so does the bible. Along side the Judaism and the Torah. In fact, as Muslims we believe Prophet Mohammed came down as the seal of the messengers and came down with a "renewed" message that is befitting for all of man kind.
