Nice to hear a person talking about loving where they live. I, too, often tell out-of-towners why I love where I live in New Mexico, USA (and I'm not a realtor 😉).
Hello Alisha ! We met in last December, we are the French couple that wishes to emigrate to America and settle down in Casper ! I confirm everything that is said there : though we stayed about 2 weeks in December, we had enough time to feel the city. The people there are incredibly kind and welcoming. The landscape is breathtaking. Yes, it was cold but heck, that's called Winter ! We managed to go to Casper Mountain, Alcova and Pathfinder Reservoirs, Independence Rock. Oh the possibilities for outdoor activities ! I'd love horseback riding. My husband is for hiking. Sailing must be great too. The museums are top-notch too : the Fort, the Tate, the Trails. The city is clean too. Now I hope the US immigration will grant us a visa for us to move there.
@@alishacollinsrealestate We sure will get in touch with you then. In the meantime, we check the homes offered on your listing, just to have the feel of the house market in Casper. Thank you for your kind appreciation, the feeling was mutual, we were powerful glad to meet you ladies ! After all this time watching on YT, it was great to meet you in person ! Keep up the good work.
We're thinking about Wyoming as a possible place to move to in the near future. Coming from Houston TX area by way of Idaho. One main question we're researching are kids activities for young kids (under 5) that can be done daily. We homeschool and are not on a homestead, so we are relatively reliant on various indoor playgrounds, children's museums, interactive indoor places, and the outdoors such as parks. How is Wyoming, Casper specifically, when it comes to these types of places? My main concern is winter, where the kids are most likely need indoor activities, on a daily basis? Weekend ski trips are nice, but I wonder what the day to day may look like for my kids and wife there. Thanks!
Is there a public pool to swim at? That is a huge priority to me. I live in the high desert in another state and I love the fact that they have lap swimming most days and three nights a week.
Depends how large. There are some acreage that comes up on the river or near irrigation occasionally. Sometimes there’s also land that comes available on the mountain.
