It's like you're my cheerleader! Last year, it was such a bumpy and longggg ride. Depression, anxiety, wanting to do healthy living but never starts, I'm not consistent, been more moody and harsh to myself as ever, complaining a lot and overthinking! And it was hard because I can't really open up to anyone thoroughly as they think I'm doing greaaaaat, and I do look like I'm doing fine. But really, I was not. And I'm such a potato! Productive, but still a potato! I'm trying to be better this year. Thanks for the inspiration!

This is ✨👍 Your video editing skills are on point! The compassion part is so important, it's what turned my life around. The only part I don't understand is writing down things you're grateful for. I tried it back in 2016 and it might have done more harm than good, as I was living in a really poor situation that was out of my control and I found myself running out of things to write down, which just depressed me. Now that I've grown a lot and gotten out of that slump I keep the things that make me happy as a list in my head, and things I do everyday - playing with my cat, researching about fish tanks, talking to friends, drinking tea, cooking and drawing pretty much everyday. It's what I call a happy routine :) I feel like actions are so much more powerful than lists!
On your point of gratitude, I never really considered how being grateful can overpower negative emotions. There was a recent incident where I felt angry at someone after a spout of miscommunication. I felt I had the right to be angry, and maybe I did, but even after it was resolved I felt entitled to make off hand comments or rude remarks regarding that night. But now I realise how lucky I was that I am in a relationship built on trust and compassion. My partner is thoughtful, kind, and just like all of us, an imperfect human. I have everything in the world to be grateful for and very little to be upset about. Thank you.

I feel the vibe you are on, with wanting to have a more simple and structured and overall calm life. As well as be in tuned with the higher self. I pray that you stay motivated! Hi Rowena! I wanted to thank you for this video that made me think a lot and kind of soothed my inner me. I'm currently in high school and have been dealing with a lot of stress for 4 years which I feel I don't have control on and I have high hopes on my future which sometimes make me feel bad because I feel like I'll never be able to fulfill my dreams or goals. But instead of that, I should realise that I have the chance to have a supportive family and the opportunity to get education and go to school quite easily. I hope I can stop getting afraid of things this year and face them by taking chances and opportunities and work on myself and for school to achieve my aims! Thank you for your spirituality and your way of giving us advices with a big smile and a touch of humour to make us feel good along the video and still understand a bunch of sometimes "heavy" or important things.
