I dropped out of college last year to pursue my dream of becoming a real estate agent and it worked. It’s really worth it and I have no regrets. Been an amazing journey but it’s not as easy as I thought anyways
I’m sure your very busy but would you mind talking with me about your journey? I just have so many questions that can’t be asked to a video and to be blunt I haven’t found what I’m looking for in the incredible jobs that I’ve had so far..
I also dropped out but I'm considering going back I'd want to get into real estate just to make some fast money tbh not gonna lie to anyone not sure how to go about this though I'm on my own when it comes to figuring all this shit out
I cleared my state exam in first try solely based on your tips 🙌 Thanks for sharing content like this. Highly insightful for someone just starting out 😊
Thank you so much for this content, I have been wanting to get my license for so long but always been pushing it back. I finally registered with a school after watching this video
Especially for Colibri aka Real Estate Express, please read the course material in its entirety please. I tried the skim method for RE Practice and barely passed on the 2nd attempt and failed RE Principles outright. This is my 2nd attempt for the course now and I passed RE Principles this time because I reviewed all of the material. Please study in the way that suits you best. Also the course was 140 bucks for me with additional study materials which is what I recommend. Good luck folks and see you out there on the front lines!
Great info. I've been licensed since 2000, and I wish I had had a mentor. That would have been so very helpful. The rest of your tips are on point as well.
Charlie any tips for an 18 year old that just graduated highschool , I’ve been looking for jobs but I know it’s not for me what can I do that will give passive income and that can be done from a laptop . Love your videos man thank you !
you wont get the job you love at first. learn how to make sacrifices first, get as much experience on anything, apply to jobs. nothing is really passive.
Awesome video! I am 17 years old and leaning into getting my Real Estate License, next year in August I will be eligible to take real estate courses, and I want to do that when I can. Working with some semblance of freedom and a very high potential profit yield makes me want to do this more than going to college, which I could still do if I really wanted.
@@xander_1521 currently 17 will be 18 in a couple of months. Search for an online pre licensing course that is certified in your state. You can start those now and take the exam when you are 18. No need to wait till you are 18 to start taking the course.
I am enrolled through allied for California, but need more practice exams. It looks like I have to purchase the entire course through real estate express? Or can you recommend other mock exams online
Thank You Brother for this information . A lot of things you said were things I knew and felt . And you confirmed . I feel a lot of comfort with my decision . God Bless You .
i'll be 48 this year...do you feel that the real estate world would embrace me........as you mention the avg age of an agent being 54. gotta love that coincidence
Real Estate Express's exam prep is still another $136, which you pretty much need, so altogether it's more like $220 - and that's the price you should be quoting. They also want to select your elective for you - Legal - which is pretty presumptuous.
Does anyone know if the course certifications ever expire in California? I completed all my courses a couple years ago and never applied for the state exam, am I able to take the state exam or would I have to complete the courses again?
I have watched a lot of your videos. Great information! I am wondering if you have both MLO and Real Estate licenses? Are you working on both licenses at the same time? Thank you!
Utah seems to continue to defy many of the US Trends. We have many from California, even Winters, California, including myself moving to Utah. Why do you think so many people are leaving California to come to Utah?
I'm looking at buying properties to rent out. I would like access to the MLS. I'm not interested in selling properties. Would getting my real estate license benefit me in doing this. I would be buy 2 properties a year for the first 5 years and then doubling after that. Thanks.
i like your video thx if my annually income 50-70k and my brother income 35k and we want to buy house worth 200k we sold our family land back home overseas and we can receive the money here so we can buy the house all cash , or we can borrow other 100k from friends and family to buy a 200k house what you think in this case how IRS would do since it showed only we making around 100k annually income , we still can purchase the house in cash without issues with IRS?
WOW watching this now my mom did a career change at 37-38 in 2017 to real estate agent. watching this in 2024 shes worked with exp and keller williams which he mentioned in the vid WHICH IS COICIDENTALLY INSANE😂🎉
Great video! I followed the link however they don't seem to offer the course for a New Mexico license. Where do you recommend I can take the NM course?
Hey I'm isaiah I live in Guyana and I would like to become a real estate agent but I donot know what subject to get.? So I was wondering if u can tell me what subject I should have. Tysm
omg youre so young my advice is stay locked in make sure you have fun and enjoy your life ofc but dont forget to lock in when u need to!! i wish you the best from one stranger to another i wish you successes !
So that I am clear, You say that the younger generation has a better chance at being successful over the older generation because they are more "Tech Savy" or know more about online tools than the older generation? So all the years of experience an older person has is devalued? Wow!
That’s still very cheap for taking classes and getting a license for something in which you have an opportunity to make thousands upon thousands a year. Cdl truck driving license classes are upwards of $5000 man. This is nothing, go to college you’ll pay even more.
@@mightguy3118 I hardly have anyone to talk with throughout the day. At work I have very few to talk with. They speak to me sometimes but having nothing to say without making things awkward is just awful because it's always awkward with me. I wish I was great at talking and making the smile at least a bit but I just never have nothing to say. Throughout life none have wanted to talk to me and now I've come to a point where I saw that sucked. It feels like I'm alone as always. Hell I even woke up today early simply due to a dream of someone I lost and no longer with. Feels as if I'm just meant to be this way. I wouldn't say I'm not so much an introvert but never know what to say without sounding stupid or unheard. People seem to have trouble when I speak.
@@e.t.4883 Honestly you shouldn't let that stop you. Once you become a real estate agent your job will be constantly talking to people on the phone and meeting hundreds of new people. After a while that'd definitely make you less introverted
@@mightguy3118 Lol I guess but I don't even know where to start. Been a while I was even able to come back. To busy at work breaking my legs to understand if I can make it in such a position as fun as it may seem to sell homes for others.
I know this is an old video but, you lost credibility every time you say “a million dollars”. I know it’s a COULD make but, that’s the same as telling someone you COULD become a RU-vidr making millions. Sure it’s possible, just not for you. The possibilities are greater than 1 in 1000 people making millions. Maybe you already know all this and have stopped doing this but, I hope I can at least warn others. Don’t do it for the money unless you love grinding out your own personal hours.
@@digiornopizza1918 thanks for the comment. I am thinking of leaving my job and getting into real estate. It is good to know that most people will not make those big amounts
@@mohammadkhan7895It’s simply not realistic. Especially when money is the biggest motivator to do something. Great if it works out like that but, it’s rarely worth it. You usually have to find one of two things. 1. Something you love doing 2. Something you’re really good at If you don’t find one of these to be true, then chasing the money is gonna be a huge drag in the long run. In real estate you’ll spend the first 2 years grinding to even get your name out there. I’m not saying not to do it. I’m simply warning of the truth of doing something simply for money.
