I made a comment on his video relating to the violent nature of these farm murders and immediately got shouted down as a racist. The world has gone mad.

Farm murders are torture. These people are attacked and left for dead. Dan needs to contact me - my mom was attacked on a farm. I hope he / his family never experience this horror.

I can not believe that there are people who discredit farm murders. Without them NOBODY would have any FOOD on heir tables. Everything would have to be imported and the prices would rise so high that almost no one could afford to eat. I stand with the farmer and there should be a solution to this problem.

The solution is very simple. What do mine workers do if they don`t get their demands met?... They strike.... Halt food production till the government listens. Nothing more dangerous than a hungry nation. We are dealing with extraordinary situation here. My thoughts are that farm murders have always been driven by the MK veterans (IMO). The tactics used are military's gorilla`s tactics. It would have been normal crime if no tortures was involved. Tactics that may work is reduce food output every week until the security forces agree to admit that this is a problem. Standing together is key. Old saying is never bite the hand that feeds you? Does the government feed you? Even if you get a social grant what will you buy if no farmers produce food. What will you eat.. We are a nation divided and the ones that divides us are the politicians. We also don`t have a race problem in this country we have a "class problem" I know farmers that love their farmworkers and take good care of them. Like in any society you have bad apples as well. Those ones cause severe damage under the brand "White Farmer" they are just bad PEOPLE and should not have a place in society. It is all politically motivated to get the land back. It didn't work out well for ZIM they are pleading to have farmers back. Farms should be classified as national key points and be protected as such. I was fascinated by Dan Corder’s video. And it’s emphasis. I follow his channel because I reckon it’s good to hear all sides of the stories. Your discovery that he is also a Radio5 broadcaster puts his approach in perspective. Sad that like many in mainstream and also alternative media, he sees the world through a 20th century lens. As Mark Twain said in a previous era “It’s easier to fool someone than to convince them they’ve been fooled” .. Covid proved it’s hard to tell which is which. I will keep following his channel, if only for irritation value, and perhaps he might one day convince me.🙃

Torture is not just "a crime among crimes". How is that not obvious? How can someone adjust his view of things until this becomes "untrue"? I think that's impossible? So then it's not an internal distortion of simple facts to mean something other than their simple selves? So then what? Surely then the natural conclusion is that someone "not able to see" this fact is actually just deliberately overlooking it. It's an inconvenient truth, and inconvenient truth is Bad Truth. Further possible counter strategy: The number of farm murders alone is not only important but also the pattern of the crimes. The fact that these crimes almost consistently have the same intensity and pattern of violence raises the suspicion that these criminals receive the same coaching and instructions. It would appear that they are being handled by the same "commanders" from the same operational office. And probably with the same inhuman psychic encouragement. This type of crime can truly be best revealed and prevented by computer "deep mining" (AI) of the most relevant database of the incidents. I am aware that the continued attack on a certain SA bank's auto banks were rapidly stopped with deep mining.

So then 2022/2023 there were 50 farm murders. According to statsSa in 2017 there was 40137 commercial farms . Roughly 20% occur on smallholdings. That leaves 40 *65% = 26, =65/100k Cannot fault the maths, but the methodology is not great... In normal home invasions, we don't count the home owners that were killed and work out the stats that way. Note, this is the only way to get the per100k higher than the national number.

Farmers play and extremely important economic role in South Africa. Food production, jobs and exports. However, it’s not only white farmers are dying. It’s across the board. However, you analysis is one sided. What’s the cause of these high murderers rate. How much is pure criminal. How much is hatred. How much is due to abuse of farm workers, I,e. Revenge attacks. Recent events of groblersdal is an example. Significant number of farmers are racists, apartheid supporters, carrying old South African flags etc. Until a proper study is conducted including all parties theses problems are not going* to be resolved. I hope it is resolved as we need farmers. We need to be food producing engine for Africa.

The violent torture tells me there is another side to this problem we need to know about. It would be good for you to conduct interviews with ex-farm workers to understand this problem. It may not be politically motivated. Consider the treatment of workers on a farm by the farmer. The murders are not condoned by any means, but this, to me, justifies interviews of ex--farm workers, not current of fear of victimisation. I do sympathise with the berieved families but lets get a holistic understanding of the problem. I am sure light would be shed on the exact reason for these brutal murders.

Firstly I'm glad you sort of agree that it's not a genocide and that your numbers are very shaky and they can't be fully relied on as it needs a lot of extrapulation and drawing of inferences. The link between farm murders and race is even more shaky and you can list a handful of cases where such a link exists. The problem is when you drive the narrative that the link is clear as the sky and other factors are secondary. SA is a very violent country and we have violent murders happening all over. Farmers are not torched because they are white but because the attackers want something from them, farmers deal a lot with cash and the attackers are going there for that. If we will ever fix this issue we need to be honest about the cause of it. If we keep raising the race thing and songs are banned. We will still have the same issue. I can tell you now the majority of criminals will not risk their lives just to make political statements, they want money or stuff that they can sell to get money.

I think some farmers are being attacked by other farmers, its called eliminating the competition, money can make ppl do crazy things.
