And stance cars! And for some reason everyone is defending them. They are absolutely useless and usually do not have any performance upgrades. Of course everyone can do what they want with their car and their money, but these cars are everywhere, they are unnecessarily hyped and just annoying.
@@fulltimegamer9194 buddy first ur like 8, second stance is for people that like to personalize their cars not for people that make their cars track demons. i personally like stance and if you don’t that’s fine, just respect people’s taste and views on different things cuz the world would be boring if all cars were the same.
Soooooo, we aren’t gonna talk about all of the takeovers in the past year?! Widebodys, stance, drift missiles are fantastic! I love those things but we aren’t going to talk about the crap ton of takeovers.... Makes perfect sense to me🤷♂️🤦♂️

Bro thought the beauty of this community was the freedom you have to express yourself. Don’t criticize other builds, just build what makes you look back when you get out of your car and smile. This community is getting so toxic that some people build their car for others. Build your car for yourself, dgaf about what others think about it
Exactly what I was thinking, most of these points are this guy just not liking a specific thing that other people like, bout the only thing I agree with is how prices are going but even then he sounds like an elitist with how he words that point
My only concern is the destruction of classic jdm cars. That being said, every 2008 350 destroyed makes mine that much more valuable and gives us another parts car. Win win I guess
This tbh Seems like he doesn’t realize the car scene is on the verge of a revolution like 2015. Just because things are overplayed, doesn’t mean it’s ruining the scene. Just means that eventually everyone will move on to the next nice build and so on.
As a fellow content creator and a guy who has been building cars since 1996, I have two project cars. A 2003 Pontiac Grand Am GT and a 1975 Ford Maverick. Every one of the things you mentioned... yeah... don't get me started. However, your list could have gone on longer. How about RU-vid creators telling people to turbo engines for more when the engine may not hold up to a turbo... or the stress a turbo puts on a daily driver and how it may not be right for the build. There is a ton more that we could talk about that is hurting the culture.
@@Invixnlty because a lot of these mods are “ridiculous” they aren’t ruining car culture, there are silly personalities that enjoy, having over the top camber, making their cars ricers, etc. what made me upset even more, is the clip he included of thestradmad, with his mk5 supra with a wide body and stock offset, thestradman was in the middle of wide-bodying his car, and he gave no info and made thestradman look like a clown. and other stuff that i’ve forgotten about made me upset too lmao
@@TheEddieguerrero06 i get what you mean but some of the things he’s saying is true such as the same pandem widebody on nearly anything and that every modded car has stance and nothings unique anymore.

Actual widebodies are typically (not always) pretty good looking. But "rocket bunny" riveted on widebodies are atrocious. Can't believe people rivet widebody flares on lambos and shit without frenching the kit onto the body with body filler. Tacky as hell.
As a vet in the car scene I think the internet has ruined a lot. I remember being on car forms and going to different shows and seeing the popular things like tweed interior, audio and video, neon lights and hearing stuff like prodigy or BT I definitely miss early 2000s 😞
The internet has light and dark. Literally my entire car knowledge came from the internet. The internet has actually taught me about all these annoying people in the car community because I'm too young to learn from experience
I thought when I click this videos he was gonna talk about ricers, big rims, gold chrome wraps, etc. But Widebody??? Stance, missile cars those are dope AF. Why would you complain about that, I think what you meant by "car culture" is your personal taste
@@CarWavExe I don't hate it, doesn't bother me any when people do stupid stuff. I agree that there is nothing wrong with Missiles, and Widebodys. And you say lowering, but thats not what I am talking about. I am talking about wheels turned out at an angle to where the tire barely even contacts the road, and when people have bigger wheels in the back, ect that is stupid. Those are performance cost for something that looks terrible. Add on 24" inch rims on performance vehciles, even 22s, they look great on Luxury Cars, and SUVs. But when you put 24s on your Hellcat you just like a moron. But its good in a way, tells you who to race for cash. The idiot with 24inch rims, is going to have a Rude awakening when he races my car with 17s and DR's.
I had a very modified 1G Eclipse Turbo “missile” as a daily driver when I was young…er. Had to start in second gear to avoid way too rapid acceleration in traffic - or at the drive through. The clutch friction point was minuscule. Suspension could hang on to turns like frickin’ glue, but you felt every Midwest asphalt bump like it was a ditch. It’s much easier to get a fast car designed to be used on a road instead of modifying an “ok” for track and tooling about to work and the grocery. Great video!
Fr he hates on everything and acts like everything he says is tight those pandem kits are still cool but custom wacky shit is cool too fitment is great but you don't have to be hella flush to have good fitment crazy builds with a ton of poke are cool too he acts like everybody only likes one thing
if you're broke, you should probably reconsider getting a wrap in the first place. put your money where you actually need it, not in luxury goods. maybe use it to invest first so you can have more stuff that you want to get in the future. to clarify, i mean luxury goods as in stuff that you dont actually need in order to do a living.
@@hoehere_Gewalt You think investing is easy and a walk in a park, but it's not. I may know NOTHING about investment but I know for a fact that it's a risky game and if your not careful, you can lose EVERYTHING you made and own.
Mutual Funds are much safer than investing in individual stocks. Sure, the return may not be as good, but if you're looking for one of, if not, the safest ways to generate some dough, this is a good one imo. Also, the best investments (the ones that generate the greatest return), are real estate investments.
The stance topic, I love both stance and lifted. Just depends on what I'm feeling, off road, or wanting to do track races (all in my games of course 😆)
Sorry it's not going away. Also let's be real it's the go to for families it is an affordable way to pile your kids while having room left. Not to say I like it but it is essential

At 60yo I may be the oldest person to watch this video. Seems like it was aimed at much younger folks. I'm an original owner of an Evolution IX SE. It looks stock; it's not, nor is heavily altered, mechanically. I've owned the car for the past 17 years and have no plans to sell. The single most reliable car I've had and what a hoot to drive! It's so reliable, because it was never molested with useless mods. It's an easy motor to uncork, though there is a practical limit, and IF you did it right you had a fantastic car. If. My advice to younger people who are interested in driving, not decorating, is to buy a car that will respond to your input in a predictable manner. If you need a mod here or there to make yourself faster or allow for more confidence, do it as the need arises. Using my IX as an example, it's on the optional factory Bilstein suspension, not lowered (suspension geometry matters if you actually drive the thing) and we added a set of Whiteline's mild F/R anti-sway bars after a couple of years. The only suspension mod and it worked out great. Please don't miss my point: buy a car you want to drive and then learn how. I've been driving for 44 years and still learning. If you want to decorate, please feel free to ignore everything I'd said. Good luck.
@New World Disorder lol I always thought they’d always lose control that’s why I wanted a camaro but after getting a mustang and seeing that it was nothing like how I thought I bought it
back in the 90s we would have all died to have even 1 brand of widebody kit for our cars. The fact that you can get them for a corolla now is insanely awesome. How does this channel have 900k subs?
@@familyelkins7273 Or maybe, just maybe, the only reason they're hating on it is because they actually don't like it? I'm not encouraging crapping on others' cars, but most people don't do it for the reasons you and the other fellow mentioned.
You're such a hypocrite, honestly, You start with how wraps are "ruining" car culture yet you have a wrapped Porche, I don't see how wrapping a car ruins the culture when it can be part of the culture and good for people who can't afford paint. It's easy to find shops that wrap well and it's not too expensive. Painting is nice and all, but so is wrapping a car; wraps if done right can actually protect the paint from being scratched, isn't as much money, and sure they might be a pain to remove or if it tears in one spot you might have to remove the whole thing, but that's what happens when you pay less. Wrapping isn't ruining the car culture, infact if anything it's improving the culture by allowing more creativity and cheaper way(s) to improve the look of your car while expressing yourself. Stancing cars isn't ruining the culture either, like you mentioned you'd prefer a lifted Porche over a stanced one while others may have a swapped opinion. Yes, stancing has become popular in the recent years, but it is in no way ruining the culture and community. Not everyone would want a lifted Porche, not everyone wants a stanced Porche, that's how it is. A lot of the time stancing is done to improve the driving, for example cambering the front tires on a drift vehicle/missile helps improve grip, as when turning the wheels dependent on the angle the wheel will gain positive camber, therefore adding negative camber to a certain degree helps improve grip and all around drivability. Widebodying a vehicle isn't ruining the community or the culture, just like stancing, these can all be counted as sub-cultures as widebodies may be used for multiple reasons, whether it be for looks or to help with aerodynamics. None of these ruin the culture in the slightest. Just like widebodies, stancing, wrapping, and more, these add to the community creating jobs for enthusiasts and allow you to further express yourself with your car and be creative. Sure there aren't too many big widebody manufacturers, but there are plenty that make fully custom widebody kits. They're just more expensive so you don't see them as much. As for hyped up prices, you're honestly making yourself look absolutely stupid here, it's called supply and demand. Sure the cars are older but that doesn't mean the price is going to be lowered due to the age. Like the example you gave of the Supra. For reasons such as The Fast and Furious movie(s) this vehicle has had a lot more demand. Unfortunately they do not make the Mk. 4 Supra anymore as they've moved on to the Mk. 5 which means there's less supply. What happens when there's less supply and more demand? Prices go through the roof. That's basic knowledge even an 8 yr old would have. As for the prices being all over the place, again, that's how it works. A vehicle may drive like a $10,000 car but cost $50,000 for supply and demand reasoning. A vehicle may drive like a $50,000 car but cost $10,000 because there's more supple and less demand. As for missles, you don't exactly explain how these are "ruining" the culture so I'm not going to talk about it too much. Yes, you did mention how some people take them on the streets when they're meant for tracks, but that could be for reasons you don't even know. They could be transporting the car, bringing it to a meet, just trying to drive it around, show it off, have some fun, whatever the case may be. I don't understand how these in any means would ruin the culture ame with the rest. The title for this next one is "RU-vidrs" but you mention almost nothing about them. This just makes you more hypocritical as you are a car youtuber yourself. Though you do mention that you see so many Lambo's but nothing else. This is just peoples taste and if you can't tell, Lamborghinis are a popular Supercar across the world. You mention that you want to see more Supercar variety then start to complain about McLarens which aren't even Supercars. Yes they're super popular across the car side of youtube and the youtube platform in general, but again, this is peoples taste. It's so stupid to the point I'd call you a toddler as you mention that you can pick up a Murcielago for the price of a Huracan. You are mistaken. A 2021 Huracan EVO goes for around 208,000 whereas a Murcielago SV runs for 354,000. Those don't look close to me... I'm not even going to start on talking about how you compared a Huracan to an R8. McLarens are classified as Hypercars btw. You mention how the 650s looks Identical to the 570s, but say the 650s looks better. Want to run that by me again? At this point just change the name of the video to "8 Trends I personally don't care for" the way you word this whole video you do nothing but go on about how certain things are hurting your feelings. I mean come on. All of these are preferences people have with their own cars. They aren't ruining the culture but making it even more diverse. Who hurt you? Sure plastidipping isn't always the best option, but instead of hating on plastidip how about you make a video explaining why plastidip can be harmful for your wallet and your car at certain times. Actually educate people if you want to run a channel about cars and the community, don't hate on peoples preferences. Sure, showing off can be dangerous (especially stang drivers, we see you with those tally marks on your window) but it isn't ruining the culture. It may be annoying when that happens and you're either the driver or you and or your car get hit. But at the end of the day it's all about having fun and sometimes that means spinning out and hitting a tree. Lesson learned. Besides, we all know there would be no such thing as those popular "HILARIOUS Car FAILS!!!" videos without our beloved Mustang drivers.
In Sweden, A Volvo 740 and 940 can cost more than a 3rd gen V70 (aka "Fas 2"). The cheapest V70 you can get is probably the 2nd gen V70 (V70N, aka "Nicklas"). At least if you want one in good condition. It also depends on what year model it is. A base model 2013-2016 V70II can set you back a good 150 000 to 200 000SEK (equivalent to roughly 12-16k USD). If you want a more powerful engine or a more luxurious interior, you might have to pay about 10k more. A V70N, in good condition can cost between 15 000 and 150 000SEK, depending on if it's an 01-04 or an 05-07. 05-07 is the facelift version and they tend to go for a higher price. They come with painted plastic lists on the corners and on the doors, as well as clear glass headlights. Sun roof? Turbo? If so, which engine is it? Summum or Momentum package? Leather, half leather or plush seats? Electric or manual adjustment seats? Black or baige interior? Has it been recently inspected and is it taxed? Has it ever been in an accident? I bought a newly inspected, silver, black leather interior, 2001 V70 2.4T (200hp) imported from the US. Set me back 20 000SEK (about 1800USD, or so)
I kinda disagreed with most of these... I absolutely adore McLaren, and I personally think that the most clout surrounded and over-hyped brand would be Lamborghini. Yes, widebodies do get a little repetitive, but they still look better than stock. And as for values, yeah that happens, especially with good JDM cars
i disagree with a lot of these. I'm pretty new to the car community and i love it. kinda dippin my toes in, so dont take my opinion heavily but i think these arent the main issues the community has. you did make some fair points tho👍🏾
@@rohdger3390 not really no. it's only prohibited when it significantly decreases safety for yourself and/or others, emissions worsen, sound is unreasonably loud or the parts are not allowed on the streets in the first place. many mods can just be slapped on no problem but performance enhancing mods and anything of great significance have to be noted and checked if it raises risk of accidents or lowers safety in case of an accident. there are guidelines to what mods need to be noted in the papers, are prohibited or are free to be installed and also what mods that don't have to be reported alone but when in combination with other mods could cause them to have to be reported and checked. it's strict, yes, and not very clear what is allowed and what not but all in all I'd say it's for the better. body kits for instance might be legal or might be illegal. depends on what does the "TÜV" says. does it compromise safety? has the body kit been specifically made for this car in germany and has already been regulated? are there already cars around that have been given a "yes" with this kit? you have to do a bit more work and check what you can do to your car if you wanna stay legal and not have to pay up but it doesn't mean you can't have some fun. i saw an extremely stanced beetle with a VERY obnoxious body kit the other. perfectly legal.

Some cars need wide body say if they are pretty flat and don’t have and fender accent, but a lot of cars look silly when they have massive wide body fenders. Depends on the kit too.

I'm pretty sure the main reason people are wrapping instead of painting these days, is because wraps are more cost efficient. And given the fact we are in a post covid economy, many people just don't have the money for a paint job.
