There's nothing wrong with something this detailed taking five days. It can take five weeks. How long it takes doesn't matter. What matters is the process and attention to detail.

omg, no way. It doesn't really work that way. The layers are very smooth transitions, and it's not an even application all over the canvas. I can't answer that question because a coloring can't be broken down like that. How many layers - A LOT! :D If you're up for keeping track of layers though, I invite you to follow any one of my live streams where I show complete 2-hour colorings.
