agreed not only for every season but also the "transitional seasons" so not exactly winter but not yet spring. end of spring not exactly summer. end of fall but not yet winter. well I guess you get the idea.
Just purchased Fahrenheit Parfum. Paid more than I wanted but it just seems to not be circulating for less on markets and discounters I shop. Highly anticipating its arrival 🤩
It has been reformulated gentlemen. Bought mine last year, and, although it has the OG vibe, I find it more fresh and green in scent. As 4 the longevity and sillage, maybe 4 to 5 hours maximum. Still remember it when came out in the 80's. That stuff would last a FULL day throughout high school!!
Man, "Dire, Dire Docks" is one of my favorite Mario themes (and Nintendo themes) of all time...that and Aquatic Ambience from Donkey Kong Country. Very awesome that you're going into video game music! Lots of great themes among several game like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7, and much more. And great list as usual, man. Always enjoy your stuff.
Yes!! Dior Homme 2020 is, in it of itself, a great woody scent. True Dior made a mistake naming it and should've made its own line but this is a great versatile scent
Unique idea for content Justin, appreciated the categories and recommendations. You included Dior Homme 2020 which I recently received from wifey and really enjoy and African Leather which I had a decant of from ScentExplore 2020. I just happened to layer them to see what would happen and, bruh, it was fire! Many blessings to you and your fam!
Yo JC, You're putting us all up on masterclass level frag game brohim. The scope of your collection is so varied and your ability to knowledgeably highlight selections in this manner, covering damn near every situational pretext is bananas. You show love to offerings and houses that no other reviewer seems to mention. I will probably never get anywhere near that PHD level in "advanced scentistry" (LOL) but I am very pleased to have found your channel. Real talk. This is another video where you chose something that wasn't on my radar but I'm going to pick up 1 Million Lucky on your advice. Keep right on blessing us.
Love videos like this!! Would love to see the same type of video and get into the season, then applied to activities like day, night, business, date, club, etc. Would be a great quarterly video for designer and niche options.
Justin, I finally have Brass and Soul in my collection. I LOVE IT! It is normally difficult for me to find fragrances that fit my standards of "freshness". Brass and Soul smells so good on my skin, my wife complimented me while wearing it the other day. She never compliments me (been married 14+ years) on my "freshness".
Wynton Marsalis doing his rendition of _" Let's A Go Below "_ . Gucci Guilty Absoulte. Have you tried Hiram Green's Hyde? Not much Jekyll in Hyde. There's also Rania J's Cuir Andalou. I picked up GG's Absolute tester for free with a TF purchase at Dillard's. I put two sprays on when I got home. Whoa. Not really for me. BTW. I picked up a bottle of Boss Bottle Oud . Well as it goes, it really didn't match the travel sprayer I got from Fragrancenet. That was a nice leathery slightly smokey sweet perfume. The Boss Bottle Oud has this plastine oud that clouds over and covers the scent. I got both a travel sprayer and a bottle from fragrancenet. I think fragrancenet put something else by mistake in the Boss Bottle Oud. It happens. Awesome list.
This is what sets you apart from other LIKE/SUBS oriented channels. They just use the same weekly rotation or top 10 seasonal niche or designer frags and milk it yearly. Your themes are as fresh as your vibe.. i guess if possible, could you make one for summer while its still kinda close? Great job and keep it up, JC! God bless
I am not a Creed fan. Royal Oud is addictive, perhaps the best fragrance I smelled after Layton, but very short lasting so I can not pay the high Creed price for it. RO is one of the fewest fragrances I consider 10/10 (scent only, performance 4/10)
Very Nice Justin...Side Effect is very Interesting! I have Fahrenheit perfume! Love that one! I have Dior Homme Parfume and i really love that one! I want Gucci Guilty!
Very interesting video Justin, I loved the Botega and yes it is hard to get, I think I had a Cerruti that was very green, also discontinued. I had the original Pasha and won't mind for another. For Woody and classy, my favorites are both discontinued (Gucci Envy and Bois Marocain (TF)), my third favorite is Bvlgari Wood Essence but it lacks in longevity, got to try the Dior 2020. For sweet my favorites are Fahrenheit the original, beyond paradise for men from Este Lauder and Costume Nationale (some consider it feminine, but I disagree). As for cozy, I prefer body musk (oil) from Qurashi, Michael Kors would be another choice, on my skin it is lovely but has very limited sillage, good longevity. For leathery I love Givenchy Gentleman -1974 (very polarizing) and Tuscan Leather, I've yet to try the Gucci Guilty absolute and the African Leather.
What about a top 10 fragrances Mario, Link or Dk would wear? Time since last time I visited your channel, yesterday I watched your "11 Awesome Fall Fragrances under $40" video with a pleasant surprise, you playing Saria's Song theme in the intro. Subscribed!
So you seem to really be into GG Absolute. It's got me super intrigued, but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger. On one hand I sense that this would 100% fill a spot in my collection due to how unique it is. On the other I may hate it and never wear it. Haha. I'm not typically one to sample as most are overpriced. I've generally gambled and if I don't like it, sell it off. I'm leaning towards picking up a 60ml for $55 and hope I dig it. If I snag a bottle I'll let you know what I think.
Hello Justin, how are you? One of the best videos you have done. ( IMO) You turn me on to Pasha de Cartier and love it! I'm digging the list and video. Stay safe brother
Although you didn’t mention it in this video, my favorite for fall is pasha de Cartier parfum as well as Fahrenheit parfum (which you did mention lol)🤝🔥
I just recently picked up a bottle of Sartorial! What a beautiful artistically done fougere! I can smell the steam coming from a freshly ironed shirt with this one for sure and it is my new favorite for the fall right up there with Rive Gauche Pour Homme! One of my team members said I smelled like an English spy or one of the Kingsman 🤣
rustic and green - Amouage Bracken man cypress and patchouli are the main note, its green and earthy. This is a great early fall scent dapper and clean - Creed Viking is what I would reach for in this category, many options but that is my favourite these days boozy and seductive Amouage Overture man this is a masterpiece, I like it for late fall to winter. I have worn this to the office 3 sprays , it killed it. chick and bold- NR for Him edt the more I think about it the more I had to choose this, there are other contenders but this is a statement piece woody and classy - PDM Akaster oud and rose gem this is a nights out scent sweet and delectable - Lartisan Parfumier noir exquis this is chestnut, maple syrup, coffee, vanilla and tonka , this is really sweet but its restrained in performance, which makes it slightly refined and not too much, lavish is a good description cozy and unique -Lartisan Parfumier Tea for two this smells like a chai-latte, you have notes of tea, tobacco, spices and vanilla - this is mid-fall reading a book in the park, wearing a scarf , the leafs are falling around you , this is the imagery it evokes for me leathery and provocative- Tiziana Terenzi Laudano Nero is definitely a leathery scent, its super complex , but the leather is really prominent for me , especially in the drydown
Salute, Love to you Mr Copeland. Wow well put together content by far. Like your idea of clasifying perfumes niche, style, mood, designer, price. Thank you from South Africa 🇿🇦Joburg South ✌
Side Effect is a great suggestion as a boozy niche fragrance. Slightly surprised you didn't pick Oajan or Ani as the opposite to 1 Million Lucky since the profile you described for the M. Micallef doesn't really sound like it's fitting of the category? Could be just me.
Dope video bro, I really dig this concept! I actually have had my eye on both fragrances in your dapper category, but a couple things have been holding me back. Maybe you can help me out. I’ve heard Pasha EDT can get a little animalic… and I’m not sure in which direction lol. Any thoughts on that? Also, Sartorial, is that heavy on the violet leaf? I love barbershop, but I don’t love ozonic.
Thank you bro! Pasha is a little funky, but it's not the strongest part of the scent...it all depends on your skin! Sartorial is well-balanced to my nose.
Hey, Justin! Thanks for another well thought out selection! Could you give a couple of other niche alternatives for chic and bold? Unfortunately, Sarah Baker is not available in Moscow, and this is a category of fragrances that I would love to explore! Regards, Mikhail.
Love your videos Justin, just a suggestion why used descontinued fragrances for the videos If we can't get them or try them unless we spend a fortune.. I appreciate your videos
Thank you…I shared this with someone else earlier. My recommendations in this video aren’t meant to be taken completely literally. I’m just using them as examples for each category as a starting place for you. But there are many other fantastic fragrances in each category to discover. But if you wanna check it out, you can easily sample it here: www.decantx.com/products/bottega-veneta-pour-homme-extreme-eau-de-toilette-for-men
Do you get some medicinal/raw leather in Fahrenheit Le Parfum, almost smoky? I'm testing it as we speak lol. It looks like Dior wanted to borrow these aspects from Fahrenheit Absolute but without using Oud and Myrrh. So they added this leather and the rum note which still gives this "medicinal/resinous" vibe to me but a bit more vanillic.

I have one million lucky for few years now, and everytime I wear it I feel like vomiting, it smells really bad on my skin Idk how a lot of people like that one! it's really disgusting scent! I gave it away to my brother this week! Love side effect, dior homme 2020 tho, great choices!
I do not think confidence has anything to do with smelling like a woman. Many men are perfectly confident but still want to smell like a man, something that seems to be getting harder and harder to do. There is no shame in liking feminine scents. Do you. There is also zero shame in not liking them.
