Jerad, the reason I love your channel is that you provide so much content so quickly with just enough in-depth detail, in such easily consumable chunks! Some other YT knife channels would have spent the whole 15 minutes on only one knife, with two minutes showing off their unboxing knife, and three minutes talking about themselves, with a few digs and cheap shots about subscriber comments! (Sorry for the rant… !😳😉) Anyway, I’ve bought a pile of knives just based on your thorough yet quick overviews just like this. For the takeaway on this video, I bought several great quality GEC slipjoints a few years ago, after collecting a lot of unique Trappers and some Tony Bose stuff for years, but have to look into those Jack Wolf knives, starting with this one. Really nice! (I was buying the new Finch over at C. Risner/TPK a couple weeks ago and think they had some coming.) I also love that Boker/Reate Urban Trapper. Beautiful knife. Thanks! 👍 P.S. The Jack Wolf’s were going fast in all colors, but I managed to snag a “Camo Carbon Limoncello” Green/yellow, almost one of those toxic green colors, before they sold out. Couldn’t get the red lava and wasn’t going to get the pink, LOL! But this looks pretty cool.

It's funny that I have a lot of nice knives but the Elementum Button Lock is the knife that always ends up in my pocket. Minimalist design, full size blade at three ounces, easy in and out of the pocket, and it just works beautifully.

The really slim ones are definatly more of an office carry or gent knife for occasional cutting while the ones like the Civivi button lock can be both a great working knife or office carry and can be used for long term cutting that won't destroy your hand. Ergonomics play a big role in how much you can use a knife and the super slim ones just aren't made for it. Can you get by with one sure, but it's not ideal. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

Reate did a great job with the Boker Urban Barlow and the Urban Trapper Premium. But I would get a custom FatCarbon pocket clip for them both, making the clips a bit slimmer.

The new Case Cheetah I got has black and white checkered carbon fiber/micarta looking scales, super thin. You forget it's there until you need it, slimmer than a cigarette and the old bone scales ones.

I carry the Boker Urban Trapper Petite with cocobolo scales.32 grams ( 1,1 ounce) but titanium handle and VG10 is a good steel.The Jackwolf is beautiful.The Boker Atlas Backlock is a good and cheaper alternative for these knives

I like the Elementum II. Similar to the old button lock but you've got a very snappy flipper action. I usually carry three knives on me. A cold steel SR1 lite for tough chores, an elementum II for medium chores and a Victorinox tinker for everything else.
