I enjoy seeing what is trending; however, I have only owned one “bucket bag” used to be called a hobo bag. Everything and I mean everything floated to the bottom of that purse. To get one thing out, you had to touch everything to find it. I will never do that again
@@cathylehman7538I use an organizer because it makes it easy to switch bags. Just pull the organizer out of one bag and drop into the next. It also keeps the inside of the purse clean for resale
Somewhere I have a beaded strawberry charm I used to hang on my bag. My late Mom and I saw these really cute handmade charms when out shopping together 25 years ago or so. She bought a little frog one, each one had a unique design and so much work went into them by a local crafter. Maybe I’ll put it on my current everyday bag, just the one, though that has this fun memory of my Mom, my shopping and lunch buddy, whom I greatly miss. My usual not-very-charming bag attachment is a carabiner that I use to hang shopping bags from to go hands-free, my berry would be a lot prettier than that🙂
I don’t like those very deep bags, especially if they’re narrow, everything small and/or heavy, like my keys, sinks to the bottom and is hard to locate and retrieve. I always choose bags that aren’t more than about four to six inches deep, trending or not. I love bags, too, but they have to be practical.
Love all kinds of bags but I have to have an outside pocket. I gravitate to midsize bags with short grab handles as well as a long strap option. Some of these trends are really cute but not practical.
Last week I visited my old house in the North of England (my ex husband lives there) for the first time in 5 years. To my utter delight, I found hanging in the cupboard under the stairs, a gorgeous beaded suede bucket bag by Antik Batik. With the original ticket from the discount store. It has 2 open pockets and a zipped one inside; and fringes on the outside. I carried it every day, it made me really happy. And has come back to Sicily with me
I have had bag charms I was given when I lived in China 14 years ago, plus the Uk has done bag charms, I bought my teenage granddaughter some and will pass along the bag charms I have. I like the Western style fits my style.
I've put key chain tags on my purse. Have for years. I get from concerts I go to. Like a black heart from seeing Joan Jett. One I got from U2 Joshua Tree tour that spins. 😃
Love me a handbag video almost as much as a shoe video! 😊 I prefer the long, narrow bags and crescent bags to the taller ones because it's easier to find your things in them. I think the bag charms are cute but, being more of a minimalist in my style, I'll pass on those. Thanks for another fun video! ❤
