Thank you So Much, Been Watching Your videos from the past 2 Years, Whatever amateur Graphic Design I have learnt is Through Your Wonderful Videos. Keep up the Great work and Many Thanks 👍.
I love you and your videos more and more, they helped me soo so much and teached me basically every I know so far. Can't wait till I can afford your inkscape master class to learn even more. Pls keep on with this 🙏🏽
You are the Bob Ross of Inkscape. I love your videos. It`s crazy to see how many subscribers you have now. Learned to love Inkscape through you. Doing everything with it today. Much love.
Referring to 03:59, while watching this video, I found out various ways to blur images. Just go to filters > blurs > then choose from the menu. Btw, great video Nick 🌟 Keep it coming.
Wow! Thanks for this great video. I discovered your channel while learning Inkscape to manipulate pdf garment patterns for projector sewing. Looking forward to your Master Class to learn more about Inkscape. Oh, and to all the commenters about the speed of the curser and video, they can use the settings icon to change the playback speed. That little button has come in very useful for my learning journey.
The one method I use a lot is using the fill bucket to make the mask. In general I will make sure a nice fat line (rect) is around the image and then just fill the area I want to mask. Holding shift will add a next fill command to the object, though you'll have to remove the gaps later. Usually that is easiest don by making the mask, give it a line width that will cover the edges of the objects to make a mask surface and just fill that shape again. I was surprised you didn't show it here as that saves ages of messing about with clicking nodes. After that you can still fine tune the mask by editing the nodes.
Thank you so much nick. This maybe complicated for me but it helps me do simple projects. I'll keep browsing on your chanel to learn more about inkscape. 🙂
Nick you are a champ man ! Many thanks for improving my skills on Inscape either for raster editing tasks or pure vectorized work. Bless up from Paris Man.
@@LogosByNick i have lots of fonts on my system but i don't know which one is free which one is not and can't go through all of them so if there be a small package of free fonts for design, it will be really useful.
Hi Nick, I love your work and your tutorials have helped me tremendously. I need to know something. Do you have any advice on how to match a font on a picture? I have tried several font identify type of sites but I can not get a match. Is there something on inkscape that can help?
I have a pole and some electrical wires in the middle of my photo which l would like to get rid off without leaving an empty space in my picture. Can l do this in inkscape?
I really like your videos, I met you now, it does something related to the name "Umami" with world cuisine, seasonal restaurant in the countries. I really wanted ideas
Does Inkscape have any way of converting JPG to Greyscale Depth map thst csn be used in CNC for 3D carve effect where darker colours are deeper carve, ? sort of like inverted Lithophane?
Can i paint on pixel level ? I need this to delete small stuff like making a full line into dottet lines, deleting numbers and lines that cross other lines etc... to then add shapes to that image using vectors
TOPIC REQUEST: in Gimp, how can I replace values in a greyscale image with colours from a gradient. Like a simulated "heat map" on a b/w image of someone's face. i.e. Lighter shades become blue while darker ones become red.
i have watch your videos on exporting in Inkscape to a png file many times and still can can not download my designs to Redbubble without a white background. I don't know what i am do wrong. I have used page, drawing, selection and all upload with a white background. I am using Inkscape 1.1 for windows.
I've been trying to find out if the Inkscape saved files on Windows 10 can be recognized by Linux operating systems and I would be able to continue working on them. I'm in the middle of a book editing and Windows gets so many errors and Ram that I'm considering migrating all the fonts and data on a brand new Linux Operating system. Like for example Linux MX 19. It might not be the place to ask the question...but for sure it is a hub of knowledge.
Hey Nick, I just began in vectorial design thanks to your tutorial videos. I can't thank you enough, I am really grateful for that. I got a quick question. How can I export the vector design that I made in Inkscape in SVG format?
@@jayfrohwirth1993 Yes but in case I want to make a portfolio website for myself, shouldn't I export the designs that I make? And when I try to export, it only comes out as a png with pixel-based even it is vectorial in Inkscape.
@@eneskarar7826 Why would you need to export them? If you want the raw SVG, that’s the current format of the file you have. Even if you could export it as an SVG, even though it already is one, what benefit would that give?
@@jayfrohwirth1993 Oh! I think I have a lot of ignorance about this topic. I just began to use Inkscape and digital design. And I was thinking about creating a portfolio after a while which I thought I only can transfer the designs to my portfolio by exporting them. So, how do I upload the designs to my portfolio website in SVG format without exporting them?
@@eneskarar7826 Chances are, if you are using a website builder, they won’t allow you to upload SVG files. Even if you are building your website from scratch, by coding it, it still becomes a hassle to implement complex SVG. I would seriously recommend exporting your SVG as a high DPI raster image, and uploading that. Usually, SVG is used on websites for icons, because they are small, simple, and need to be resized often.
Few days ago, I need to do collage picture but didn't want to download/install any app (have Photoscape X installed, didn't like to result.) Me: Why not Inkscape? It just works.
I like Inkscape, but I have some problems with it. There is a comprehensive course with a simple explanation, preferably if it is a translator. Thank you.
Can i make logos of 40px X 40px and 16px X 16px resolution on inkscape? If yes, then plz explain me how? Plz anyone? I need to work on website logo asap,
I REALLY REALLY NEED HELP, CAN ANYBODY TELL ME, I SOLD A LOGO BUT INSTEAD OF EXPORTING I GAVE INKSCAPE FILE,AND DELETED IT FROM MY COMPUTER, WHAT WILL THEY RECIEVE, WILL THEY GET A TRANSPARENT VECTOR OR NOT, PLEASE HELP
Hi Nick, thanks a lot for your videos! I don¹t know what¹s happening - when I export my work (post for Instagram) in "png" some collors change, I can¹t fix it. Could you help me?
Are you using the export menu (control + shift + e) or are you doing File > Save As? Because the Save As method creates a different kind of PNG. You'll need to export it to get the proper result.
@@LogosByNick Thanks for your answer. I'm using the export menu. The colors change when I use opacity under 100%. I used a background texture and above all I used a layer with color (opacity 50%) to create contrast. When I export to PNG, it lost the opacity, changing all the colors and textures.
