People. I have a mascara dot on my nose, the lighting is horrible, and I blabber on about God knows what for three minutes before sharing my tips!! haha I was a week postpartum and a complete mess. Thanks for hanging out, I appreciate you! :)
Legally blonde! I love that movie. 😂 Thank you for the wonderful advice. 😊 I'm not pregnant yet (have been trying for almost 2 years), but I'll remember these things when my day to give birth finally arrives! 😊❤
This video is really good! I'll have my 5th baby on november 2018, and Your friendly and simply ways are perfect, thank you so much and God Bless You! Vivien from Hungary
Kristie Carter depends how much the doula wants to charge. I Googled a doula in my area and found one through doulamatch.com. Her charge was $650 for a prenatal visit, phone and email contact, labor, and a postnatal visit. I wanted to find a doula who did postpartum services as well, but I'll have to hire someone else for that which is ok. Also, depending on what state you live in and/or your insurance the cost of a doula may be reimbursed. There are some doulas who have sliding scale fees as well or who are training and will attend a birth for free. I've seen ranges from $0-4000 for doulas depending on their services and experience. Some doulas offer massages during labor, some offer aromatherapy, some have a cap on how long they will stay with you during labor and after delivery, etc.
Google your city and doula - I'm sure plenty will come up for you!! :) Mama Natural has a wonderful template to get you started on your birth plan - I have a video on it - but just google 'mama natural birth plan' it's simple- then just research each option and see what fits bets for you! :)
that pillow made my day nick cage grinning awkwardly though a labour pain video like he is taunting me "it dont matter what you do that shiz is gunna hurt"
That's not recommended because the faster the delivery the more likely you are to tear. And historically a lot of women died while giving birth so that's not a great reference...
Most c sections are not necessary. One out of 3 women in the US have c sections. Our species would never have survived if c sections at that rate were needed. It's all about the money and hysterical doctors trained to cut not give into naturalism.
My mom give birth to two times twins, and 7 single !! Totally 11, she gave birth at Home never visted hospital as there was no hospital. She work all day even after Birth. Much like and love for all mom. Who like !!!?
I was induced with my first at 34 weeks. I made it to hour 44 (13 hours with pitocin) by the time I gave in and got the epidural, and had him 3 hours later. He was 3lbs 15 oz and I had a 2nd degree tear. I know that if I don’t need to be induced I will be able to go naturally, but I’m so scared of tearing again with no pain medication. Like, if a 3lb baby can tear me in half, what will a 7lb baby do???
It has more to do with how prepared your body is than it does with the size of the baby. There are women who have 10 pound babies that don't tear. If your body is tense and unprepared you are more likely to tear. Drink red raspberry leaf tea, eat dates, and learn to relax and let your body flow.
Your videos are really helpful.. I am 10 weeks away from my due date and frwaking out here😱😱.. Regarding the date, it's true.. Dates has oxytocin, which is the inducer hormon for labor that's why it ease and prepare natural birth. On top of that, we have a chapter in our Holly book, Quran, for Ms. Mary. Before she reached labor time, she rested under a palm tree next to a river.. God spoke to her and told her to shake the tree to get some dates and drink water, which both will ease your labor... And that what happened at her time without and further researches.. Plus, they are high in Iron, Calcium and Magnesium, that helps women after birth to deliver..
Hello sorry if I'm being a bother but I've been trying to convince for about a year and a half my doctors are being strange anyone of them and don't know where to turn to has we would love to have a family of our own even though I wouldnt mind adoption I just want to have my own one I have researched so much and I just dont kbow what to do anymore 😭
but how can any pregnant woman in their third trimester do 300 squats a day? I can do only as much as 40 a day, which will be a little less than 300 in a week.
Commenting before even watching :) I am due in 3 weeks and ready for another natural birth! This is totally what we are meant to do! That was such a motivator for me with my son.
I want to be your friend 🤣🤣🤣 love your energy. Thank you so much for your tips, I am about to give birth for the first time and I will be implementing these tips for my remaining 6 weeks!
What was ur labor time compared to number 2?! I am pregnant with number 3 and they say that one is the wild card😬. From start of 1st contraction to birth how long was it?!
Umme Habiba obviously that's a bit much for most of us. I squat (using a stool) when I poop and I do a few squats while emptying the dishwasher and when picking things up off the floor.
So you can't buy specifically NORA tea, you use the individual tea leafs to make it yourself if you're a hard core tea drinker. For myself I make it easy and drink the 'labor prep' tea by pink stork, or in the past I have drank the 'third trimester' tea by earth mama and I think another one but can't remember the name but the brand was yogi. I think in the video I mention which one I like the best - I have a tea specifically talking about NORA tea :)
hahaaa Yes. Chatty cathy FOR SURE! I never thought more than a handfull of people would watch this-- And to put in perspective I was just a week or two postpartum here - cooped up in my house with no real conversations to be had, I was letting it all out :) haha!
Raspberry leaf tea and peppermint tea work to soften the areas around the cervix apparently I used them both and had a fast 2 hr labour could be coincidence but maybe not
They are NOT the same oils at all! If your hospital allows aromatherapy you could use your doterra oil for that if it helps calm you. Please read about what Evening Primrose oil is and anything else before trying to put it in or on your body! Evening Primrose is very popular for a reason!
