I get what you’re saying. All life has value. But I think because Bucky actually knew Howard before he was brainwashed makes a difference. Idk about the comics but in the MCU Howard helped Steve rescue Bucky from Hydra.

@@jakealter5504 well, because he rightly assumed Tony wouldn't handle it correctly and attempt to kill an innocent man who has suffered decades of mental abuse and mind control and experimentation despite the fact he had no control over his brain and body while a Nazi organization used him as a tool.
Stan GreyJoy true but would you have done differently in Tony’s position? He was already having trust issues with captain over the sakovia accords and had endured a lot of emotional/psychological trauma by that point
In Tony's own words, "He killed my Mom.". All sense of reason left his mind as soon as he'd witnessed the murders himself. Imagine actually watching your parents get killed, knowing who did it, AND finding out that your colleague/friend knew about it... Nope, I'd not be able to contain my rage either, rational or not!

Oaken Shadow _Madeline McAdams_ She wasn’t a child when he trained her, she was roughly the same age as him I think. But just read the entire Ed Brubaker Captain America run. Black Widow doesn’t feature until somewhere between issues 26 and 30 and then features fairly regularly once Bucky becomes Captain America. She’s also a big part of the Winter Soldier comic that spins out of this run once Steve Rodgers takes back the Captain America mantle.
I love The Captain America: The Winter Soldier Movie… until they nerfed him in civil war and they nerfed him even more in FATWS Series…. I’m F*ckin Done With The MCU… I’m Going To Stick in some of the old Winter Soldier’s comic related and video games…
The fact that he killed former-Bucky Jack Munroe (Nomad) is what made Winter Soldier irredeemable for me. Yes, Jack having a troubled past plus his past experience as a soldier AND a superhero/antihero is what made him the perfect pawn to be blamed for the terrorist attack but there are plenty of other characters in the MU that could also fit that role perfectly; nope, Barnes killed him because that would get Cap upset but _mostly because_ the guy also had unwillingly taken his identity for a couple of years. Too much of a coincidence to come back later and say that he was brainwhashed and blindly following someone else orders! Of course he has done a lot later in his character development to atone for his past sins but that Nomad murder was cold blooded. GOD, DO I LOVE THIS CHARACTER!
