RIP Michael Stanley 3-5-2021. Cleveland rock legend and DJ. Wrote and recorded this song in 1989.

"Tonight's the Night" by Michael Stanley. This brings back great memories at the old Richfield Coliseum.

The '15-'16 Cavs won the title, but my personal favorite Cavs team is '91-'92, for getting to the ECF on guts and grit, only to run into MJ. :/

Cavs have come a long way... from the dark early years... to a solid squad onky to be defeated by Jordan....to finally a chance with the GOAT in young LeBron, yet, management failed to give him any talent, to the "Toxic Decision" and the dark years to Kyrie and The Return of the King.. the 2016 Championship and then to the young guys of Donnie and Garland... Lets go Cleveland!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE this song. I remember another great song from Michael Stanley Band for the Cavs in the late 90s, Rock You Tonight by Michael Stanley Band that was played in arena before each home game back when it was Gund Arena.

The BEST! Now THOSE were the days. Price, Daughrety, Nance, Hot Rod, Ehlo, etc. What a TEAM. FU Michael.

The band that plays this song is actually the Michael Stanley Band. They're big in NE Ohio, not so much outside the friendly confines. They have a similar blue collar, no frills, "Heartland Rock" sound that "The Boss" and the boys do. Stanley has also found fame as the longtime afternoon DJ on classic rock station WNCX 98.5 in Cleveland.

Playoff bound again. Go Cavs. Had we not had our little slump a month or two ago we would have been challenging for number 1 seed.

You might find this cheesy, but it can't be any cheesier than any whiny, mainstream pop-punk song! "Songs" like the ones All Time Low and Simple Plan "perform" are more cheesier than a damn Green Bay Packers game!
