My 80 year old father always longed to have a parrot but life never presented the time. I recently adopted a couple rescues but not all very easy to handle until Zeffi my sweet 45+ Mealy Amazon moved in. She stepped up nice for him to put her in cage at bedtime. My mom and brother in awe in background knowing how special this moment is. Dad is amazed at how warm and soft her feet are. He now stays until bedtime when comes for dinner just for this routine.
