Fantastic collection, sir! Personally, I like to keep a 50 count desktop humidor filled with some of my favorites (and some very mild smokes, for guests) on display. I keep my boxes and long term storage cigars in a tupperdor... they are lifesavers. 👍
I actually used to use a few small tupperdors for the exact same reason. Had them in my whiskey cabinet and that was primarily for guests. Before that it was a glass top 50 count humidor. Now it’s my Byron 25 ct box humidor. That’s awesome dude
Amazing collection. I’ve been looking at some larger humidors to replace my small one but love the ideas of these tupidors. I actually just went and bought from HD after seeing this video.
I didn’t start my “collection” until last year. I’ve been into cigars since I was 18. But I never kept more than a handful on hand until I decided to build this collection last year

Amazing collection, I am preparing it. What is the daily temperature in your city? If it is higher than 80 degrees Fahrenheit, how can you ensure that the temperature of the box is 70?

Fun fact I have a degree is psychology and my GF is a mental health therapist. However for anything on this collection to be stale they’d have to not be taken care of. For a cigar to get “stale” it would have to dry out. For a cigar to dry out they would have to not be properly humidified. Which these are 😂. Nice troll though. Do you get these mainly from local shops in your area or online? I’ve had an awful experience trying to find Opus X locally. Called all the cigar shops in the Phoenix metro area with no luck. Also, where do you get the wooden trays from? Thanks!
Both. I shop around for the best deals. If that online, which it usually is then I go that route. If it’s at a local B&M then I go there. Sometimes it’s just about availability as well. 🤷🏾♂️
Yeah I learned the hard way tupperdors are just more efficient and less costly. In the long run I want either a walk in or cabinet humidor but I need more space for both.
@@UCRiksDE No. the boxes aren’t moisture tight. And they’re typically wrapped in cellophane which is breathable. Though I don’t recommend leaving boxes sealed long term
@@NotUrGuru Thank you! Fairly new to cigars, but i wondered how expensive cigars also come in like sealed glass tubes. I cant imagine that there is much airflow, even in a humidor, thought they would dry out.
You have a crazy collection, but... WHY?! I have around 90-100 in a standup humidor. I try to smoke 10 or so before I replinish. I was like this with cologne and ended up damn near 500 bottles of cologne, with alot that I just didn't actually like. I downsized and now I have nearer 100. Much better.. lol I have a vision. I also have the means. And having a collection this large makes it very easy to age cigars as o smoke pretty frequently. Depending on time of year and how much time I have I may smoke 10 cigars a week
@@NotUrGuru No doubt, I mean, I have the means for it just not really the space at this point. I like my little 100 or so I keep all the time. By all means brother, I'd probably do it too if I had the space/time to mess with them. You've got a wonderful collection, I just bought a bunch of plasencia, if I could get OPUS X I would be buying those. Good luck with everything brother!
What do you end up paying for an opus at that B&M? I went to a place here in So. Portland and he was bragging about lowest priced Opus in New England and only place in Maine to carry them and blowing all this smoke just for them to be like $52 😂😭
Average price for an Opus around me is about $30. At the higher end shops near me it’s about $35. But at the smaller stores (when they do get them) I can typically get them for MSRP, which is usually under $20.
Nothing wrong with that, plenty of great sticks in that price range. Funny thing is yes I have the money to build a collection like this, but I don’t indiscriminately throw money at cigars. I shop around for the best deals possible, use holidays to my advantage, store credit etc….

Not really a fan of coolidors tbh. I started off with wooden humidors, and considered coolidors. But after tons of research and trial and error I truly prefer Tupperdors.
The collection is impressive, but storing them in a mere storage box does a great disservice to the craftsmanship that goes into making cigars. Beyond the financial investment in such a collection, cigars require the right environment to age and develop their flavors properly. They deserve to be housed in a proper humidor, where temperature and humidity are controlled to ensure they remain in optimal condition and improve over time.
lol bro I hear you but my cigars are in the most controlled environment they can possibly be in. They aren’t just sitting in a box with no thought involved. These are weather proof containers that lock in and lock out moisture. My cigars stay at 64-67RH and 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit year round. I have hygrometers to keep track of the RH and temp, I have Bovedas as my 2 way humidifiers, and I have a humidmeter so I can individually check my cigars to ensure they all in the best possible shape. I nerd out on the things I’m into. And cigars are no different

@@YTviewer118You’re incorrect, I’ve been smoking since 1993 and switched over to Tupperware and acrylic in 2021 and my cigars have never been in such immaculate condition and as a bonus, 60 gram Bovada packs don’t dry out in plastic, mine are 3+ years old now and they’re in the same condition as they were on day 1. I have everything from Cuban to new world stored in new era humidors, try it before hating on it, you’ll be extremely impressed.

Actually there are three. Two 67g 65% packs, and a 320g pack. Plus several boxes have smaller packs or there own humi pack that came from the factory. I check in these regularly. If they needed more they’d have it.
A lot of David off…get a better humidor, but I have a friend that uses an ice cooler as a humidor…the plastic box you have is better I guess, but Spanish ceader is the best…nice stash amigo
