Richard Moglen, thank you for granting your guests enough time to speak. You do not interrupt them and that is how it should be. Very few interviewers let their guests talk without interruption. Keep up the good job.
Sharan from Finance with Sharan also keeps interrupting the speakers, not a great experience for the speakers and the audience as well :) Listening and letting people speak is a very important skill, good job Richard! 😊
Richard Moglen is too good to handle any guest..He lets them talk and setting benchmark on how one should conduct shows...Kudos to him ...Overall very good interview and lots of learnings

Hi Goverdhan...being Indian, proud of you brother..hardwork you did..deserved success..sharing your journey is beneficial to us. I thank Richard Moglen so much for bringing these interviews..and thanks to TraderLion team for their effor and education.
One of the biggest challenge for me with swing trading is overnight risk .. most of the daily gains would just evaporate the next day.. may be it’s macroeconomic factors, sector problems or ER miss of competing businesses.. you have more control in day trading but with smaller moves .. always good to be small green than big red .. thank you both of you..🙏
Definitely a balancing act. Finding what works best with your skills and mentality is more important than what one speaker says in an interview. Specialize the areas you can dominate!
Richard, great interview. Could you also please ask them what tools they use (e.g., brokerage, charting tool, any subscriptions, etc). This is helpful information to have.
Easily my favorite interview. I've been struggling for years and this gives me hope. I traded a lot of these stocks myself and barely made any money. I realize that my approach has been wrong. Waiting for dipson the backside is not the right way. Trading the bull flags on the front side is the best strategy for small cap. The fact that someone could win the USIC as a day trader is amazing as well. Big props to Richard for asking all the right questions that everyone wants the answers to. Great great interview
Awesome interview. Loved his perspective on psychology & him deciding that day trading fit his personality more. Also shows the importance of backtesting and keeping it simple.
What basic knowledge or concept one should have it, before enrolling into any such course like Mark Minervini or some other day trading legend? Like I have no knowledge on any of what he was saying so if I join any of Mark's class, Ill come out 0. So what concept should I make clear then listen to this again in order to understand?
Congratulations Goverdhan and thanks to Richard for this wonderful interview! Qs: 1. How many open positions do you have at any given time? 2. Do you carry any promising positions overnight or always close them by end of day? 3. What is the purpose of 9/21 EMA?
Always thank you ,Richard for your hard work.Thank Gajjala for him sharing his valuable lessons during his retively short but very sucssessful trading journey.
I couldn’t thanks Richard enough for your contribution to all traders! Conducting countless great interviews with top traders around the world! Thank you so much Richard!
How to define the qty of shares to buy based on price and volume keeping in mind to exit the position in single day when position is turned against us...? Is there a formula b/n Price, Vol and Qty to buy?
@Goverdhan, since you are taking trades based on price action and use 9EMA as a supporting confluence, what is the usage of 21EMA? In what context do you use it?
There will be times where the price takes more time to consolidate and slowly drifts and lands on 21 EMA. This action will look better if I switch to 15 min chart. I just use the EMAs for reference and extra confirmation of the trend Oliver, I don't decide the buy point based on that.
Hi@@goverdhangajjala ! Superb stuff, subscribed to your wait list. Do you use 9/21 EMAs on the selected time frame basis, or anchored to some specific time frame, e.g. 5min or 15min?
Plz watch the stats section of the interview for number of trades. I pay my taxes every year. As Mark says, don't try to avoid taxes. Try to pay more taxes which means you're earning more :)
My 4th watch , most people always look at the flag or the mini base for a trade what I got out of this the flag is only as good as the lead up to it u must watch the previous data to get an idea of the projection in the future, one of the best interviews once again
superb!!! its obvious how much work goverdhan has put in and continues to put in. i personally took away plenty from his best practices his mistakes especially using camtasia recording on demand live trades for his setups at 3x speed and 6x speed on top of it. he deserves all his success and plenty more in his future!!! thanks for coming on and thanks for hosting 😊💚
Great clip and thanks for putting this on Richard. Did he make mention of how he scans for his trades? It seems as though he really likes the micro caps and volume and price are his key variables, no screen setups like Minervinis template.
OMG ! This is the ultimate trading video that I have ever seen. Thank you Goverdhan and TradeLion for getting this video out. There is so much information packed in this video for a day trader. Even though I am not a low float day trader there is so much in this video that is going to help me.
Another great interview Richard. I really like your calm, respectful interview style. This has to be the 3rd interview in a row where the guest says they lose more often then they win, but they keep their loses small. I keep trying to hammer this into my head, keep my losses small. Goverdhan is more of a risk taker than I. He is trying to hit homeruns with those low float stocks and it is working for him. Those low float stocks have me curling up in the fetal position when they go bad quickly. My trading style is more to have a higher winning percentage and hit singles and doubles. Goverdhans note taking and journaling were excellent. I look forward to the next interview, or as I see them, "my weekly pep talk".
bhai aap profitable ho????mai 2 saal se apni koi trading setup and system nahi bana paya abhi tak. lost so much capital. how did you get ur trading setup/system
@@MoneyMuscleMastery38 nhi. Not profitable yet. But since this is a very lonely profession, i am thinking... Ek group ho traders ka.. 5L to 20L cap bracket wale. To exchange trades and help each other
Hi Richard- Is wash trading rules applicable for these day trades? IS there a way around it, but setting up trading as a business (I have heard). If so, please send the details or refer me to a RU-vid video kindly.
First of all: great questions from Richard. Cudos. Second: I love how Goverdhan is really vulnerable / honest about how this journey can be so painful, that you even cry. Been there. Haha. Can relate. Great interview. Thanks to you both
Thank you traderlion and goverdhan for sharing this invaluable content Thank you goverdhan for being transparent and selfless in sharing And congratulations
Even if you have no interest in trading, the insight and self awareness talked about from about 18 minutes in - simply wonderful - guidance for anyone in any field.
Great information and learning videos please also do interview some forex traders. You ask questions very strict and clean way I like your thoughts and the way you do your job fantastic
I think UCIS need to be more transparent, for example, how much equity was he risking ? ... and so forth , over all great performance, but would love to see this in average across 10 years .... ( i know he did not trade for 10 years, and am referring to a future date )
Fantastic interview and just loved the honesty and the journey. Giving back to others is truly the best feeling in the world and thank you for being that person. I didn't quite catch those other traders you listened to as mentors. Would you be able to list those out you felt were the most important. I got Mark Minervini, but didn't catch the others. Many thanks!!
Hey TL & GG .. I just started with this video interview and it is very clear that GG speaks from Heart. 🙏Respect to GG. Thanks TL🍟. Love & respect from BHARAT.
Congratulations Govardhan... I too exactly follow Lance and Yvan , because their concepts are near to real trading,. Do you trade options? I trade options for intraday and trying to get out of psychology barrier currently.
i can see he used charles schwarb brokrage account to trade ,, is it possible to use webull as a day trader ? cause i can see when am trying to sell they are charging a brokerage.. does that same happens in charles schwarb too ? also for all the sales that we did do we have to pay tax on the profits ?
Great interview! It’s seems like the main strategy is focusing on price action related to volume. What will be considered a meaningful volume ? Is there a ratio between the float and trade volume which will indicate a meaningful volume? Thanks again for the info!
The only thing I am lost on is how he is live trading after hours sessions... my understanding has always been that if you place a trade after hours or pre market it will be executed at next market open... What am I missing, could someone please clue me in?
love seeing a proper intraday trader on the channel, even with being focused on intraday the type of price action he looks for still fits our swing style trading kind of action. i agree with feeling more in control of my trades when day trading as well, part of why i switched to trading index futures from swing trading individual stocks, PLUS you can still get a nice swing trade on them since after all its still an index which have plenty of day or week swings
Thank you both. great session. This is my 5th year in my trading journey with lots of questions that have been slowly answered by listening to you interviewing great traders. I learn something new every time. I truly enjoyed this session. Thank you both for doing this.
Hi @@goverdhangajjala and thanks for your quick answer! Do you mean that when you switch time frame from 5 min to 15min, your EMAs also switch from 5min EMAs to 15min EMAs?
Congrats to Goverdahan and many thanks for sharing your insights on trading. To Richard, you did very well in this interview, very comprehensive and you were able to bring the best in your guest as well. Well done!
Awesome....great learnings from this day trader...loved the way he goes back to check on every trade he has taken, with screenshots and recorded videos....how he exactly picks few stocks from bunch of available...was not clear to me...may be in some other interview i will try to understand this...Thank you TrderLion and Goverdhan Gajjala.🙏
@@goverdhangajjala - Great interview, came to watch this from your mailer. I am unable to understand how a stock can give you 30-40% moves within few hours. Do they not have upper/lower circuits in US markets?
These intraday breakouts definitely worked a lot better than ones that took a couple weeks to setup last year. I'm not a daytrader but I basically ignored breakouts from September to December and just traded earnings pivots and did pretty well.
