Unless you play guitar, you probably do not appreciate the touch and feel you need to write and play a song like this. Neil Geraldo is one of the most underrated and overlooked players ever. The touch he shows during the rhythm and solo sections is ridiculously good...

It is one of my favorite songs of Pat, maybe the favorite. The atmosphere the songs delivers and the setting in the streets , there is no comparison. I love the early songs so much. Thanks Pat.

Gr8 sound with Pat's voice and that band with those kick ass guitars and drums.That was rock not some wimpy crap that some bands in the 80's had and tried to pass off as rock.
I LOVED Pat Benatar during the 80's. Remember rocking out to "Love is a Battlefield" at my high school formal. But this was a lesser known song that I REALLY loved.

Going to see Pat Benatar and Neil (Spyder) Giraldo on 3/19/17. Will be my 18th time seeing them and my 1st acoustic concert @ Majestic Theatre in Dallas, TX. on 5th row!!
The one and only time I had the funds and time to see her was when she played in Brooklyn with Blondie in 2009. I was 32, and I was lucky enough to get front row. My ears were ringing for a week because I was close to the speakers, but it was worth it. For those that haven't seen her perform, drop everything and do so!

Yes John Roberts I know that. And they were a tremendously productive rock couple back then, and they're still together now, which shows something. There aren't many acts like this that have a great guitar player, but Giraldo is one for sure. Amazing to me they're not in the HOF.
@@motnosniv little known artist? He's been on many movies ,general hospital,had 18 top ten hits and has currently toured still 1999 and plays to sell out crowds but yeah he's a little known artist
@maxcomehomenow MTV definitely helped make her. I remember the early days. In that first year of MTV it seemed like every third video was one of her numbers.
@totally80music Was? she is still tough as nails, saw her 3 months ago, don't get any better then her, been to well over 200 rock concerts. and she and her hubby never fail to blow me away !!... and it still boggles my mind why her hubby is not up there with the likes of Jimmy Page ,as far a guitar playing . the man is the shit !!!
I like to think of myself as a big Pat Benatar fan but I've never heard this song before or seen this music video either. great song and video. I wouldn't feel so bad about her not being inducted in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, in my opinion it has lost all credibility when the likes of Pat, Kate Bush, Toto, Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Kansas, Tina Turner as a solo artist just to name a few haven't been nominated or inducted but Bon Jovi are in. The Rock Hall Of Fame should or supposed to stand for excellence, innovation and quality but apparently all that matters is sales.
i love the tough rocker chick period of pat benatar's career. she looks menacing, like she'd mess you up if you crossed her. i love this video, especially the futuristic hallway scenes, and the screen play between the two different pat benatar's!!
