This would play at the end of the movie where the girl quits her shitty job and runs towards the love of her life on a beach. There's a full on sunset, water droplets with that weird glimmer effect, slow mo waves and him lifting her up and spinning around as they kiss. I'm obsessed with this movie.

What a memory... May 1985. Last dance of the school year. 16 year old me finally works up the courage to ask Rosalie to dance. What started out as awkward but raging teenage hormones grew into the love of each other's lives. We're still together to this day. Our daughter loves Selena's daughter's cover version of this.

I heard they wanted to use this song in a movie back in the 80's that not many people know about called “Top Gun” which starred some nobody called Tom Cruise, but it ended up being replaced by some song called “Take My Breath Away” by some half-decent group called Berlin. A missed opportunity 🤷‍♂️
