Everyone saying 'her hair is damaged' 1.) it's a wig 2.) it's supposed to look that way! It's supposed to look like an authentic 80s hair. People back then had messed up hair from perms and stuff. 3.) it's not actually ruining the hair. The diffuser give it that look. 4.) he barely teased anything so there is minimum damage. I tease my hair all the time and it's perfectly fine. You have to know how to take it out right if you don't want too much breakage.

Hi! I tease my hair all the time too!!!!! I got some dread locks but I was an itiot and didn't brush my hair out well I still tease it and it looks great!!!

People keep saying like when you dry your hair with a hair dryer and comb it to get a look using heat it damages it , it really doesn’t damage hair unless you have been doing it in the same spot using for about 20 seconds

@@monikabarbie7453 hey! a difuser is something you add into ur dryer! it goes in the ‘’mouth’’ of it. it’s really easy to find and it’s usually used by people with curly hair to keep the shape of the curl

No one in the 80's wasted THAT much time doing their big hair. We already had perms, our hair was already fried and it was just tease, spray, go.

Best tutorial on this. Also you need a pretty damaged hair to look like a perfect 80s hairdo. Nowadays hair is not damaged anymore so is hard to recreate that style really.

Well it just depended on the girl and her hair style as to how much time they spent. I remember girls saying they had to spend an hour on their hair each morning, others not so long. Anyway, a lot of girls just got a spiral perm with small curlers. Some would kind of have it burned so it had a permanent teased appearance anyway. So they didn't have to spend nearly as much time on it. Just pick it out, add hair spray, and go.

My mom used to style my bangs (and hers) like that. She split the top and bottom like the video but she used a curling iron to curl the bottom under and the top back and then fluffed it with a comb and a hell of a lot of aqua net.

Yep, you rocked it. Looking GOOOOOD! That is how we used to wear our hair. Lots of backcombing and hairspray, LOL! I often looked like I had just got out of bed, or been dragged through a hedge. Very much like Lockdown hair.
