I've ridden over the CNM five times total, and I gotta say that first climb up to Cold Shivers Point is steep, and I'm really impressed by your pace. Nice work man.

Speedy or not, this was another fabulous ride. Weather in England pretty miserable right now so it was great to ride into a big blue sky.

Glad you enjoyed it. Was planning on riding up to the Maroon Bells near Aspen Colorado on Friday but the weather forecast is for rain, snow, and cold. Marci says it would make a good video. I say people ride indoors when the weather is bad, they don't want to see bad weather on the video, they want to see warm sunny weather.

Sorry Jerry, I have to go thumbs down on this one. 😩 Your speed is very Un-bicycle. Yes, in their days riders like Lemond and Armstrong could probably keep up with you most of the time but for me, you’r riding a Harley.

Too bad because the next two rides are even faster. The average speed on this ride is 19.3 mph. Professional cyclists like Lemond and Armstrong average 25 to 28 mph and in the thin air of Colorado they would probably average 27 to 30. The next ride I post is a group ride. My average speed on this group ride is 21.6 and I am unable to keep pace with the group several times during the ride. The average age of the group is 60 something. The wide angle of the camera lens gives an illusion of more speed than there actually is. Average speed of my rides is posted at the end of the satellite video of each ride.

@@JerrysScenicCycling OK, maybe I am missing something. I'll have another go but not today. Today is too perfect for riding outdoor. Bend, Orygun will run out of good days a little before you do, can't let one slip by. I look forward to the group ride you will post with the 60 year old riders. Might be worth a trip to Colorado just to sit by the road and watch you go by 💫 😀 Keep up the rides whatever your choice of the day happens to be.
