81 MPH RC Car Speed Run With The ARRMA Felony After Installing 27t Pinion Gear | XXL RC

81 MPH speed run on my stock ARRMA Felony with high speed gearing and new HOOVO 5500 mAh 120c 3s LiPo batteries. Had a few crashes and overheated a couple of times, but the Felony just keeps on going. The pavement was reading 126 degrees, so I could only get a couple of speed runs before overheating.
Follow up video to my first run of the ARRMA Felony 6S All Road Street Bash RC Car. Installing the optional high speed 27T pinion gear. GPS speed test with the Sky RC GNSS Performance Analyzer. Speed Runs, Drifting, Donuts and general Hooning around. This thing is tons of fun to drive!

Nice run!! I have the Black Felony with the chrome Powerhobbys wheels..23t ..i got 81 the other day...You may hard more in it..💪🏿💪🏿

Heck yeah! Love the Felony! I really wanted an Infraction, but the Felony came up on Amazon Warehouse and I couldn’t pass it up. I’m sure it’s still got more in it. 81 was pretty easy.

I try to keep an eye on it. It was pretty warm out there. The pavement was reading over 130° F. Didn’t take much to make it hot.

Hi Need expert advice Between Arrma Felony Vs Infraction V2 Which one would you recommend? I am confused because most people has got issues with different size tyres at rear and the differentials.. So pls suggest

I don’t have an Infraction, but I’ve really wanted one since they came out. I came across a good deal on the Felony and that’s why I have that. They are essentially the same car, with a few differences. As you mentioned, the Felony has bigger tires in the rear and different gearing to compensate for the larger tires. I haven’t had an issue with that, though. The Infraction v2 also has the handbrake module, which the Felony does not. The larger tires on the rear of the felony definitely give it a cool scale muscle car look, but if I was choosing between the 2, I’d pick the Infraction. Just for simplicity of having the same gearing and tires front and rear.

You Think If The Felony Had The Same Gearing As The XO-1 It Would Be FASTER Then The X0-1? Because Im Debating To Get One Of Them & Like Speed..Lol!

XO-1 is setup to do 100 MPH and the Felony 80 MPH. Both cars are very similar in size and layout. I think it comes down to parts support and I think ARRMA has the upper hand there. The XO-1 has been around a lot longer, but it seems more people use the Felony/Infraction/Limitless platform. Either way, I think you’ll be happy. They are both very fast cars.

All temperatures were within the safe range. The only thing I was worried about was the motor temp, but I let it cool down before continuing.

What is top speed in reverse??

Good question! Theoretically, it should be the same, but I think the ESC limits power to 50% in reverse. Probably a lot harder to control in reverse too!
