For something that was initially created to assist those interested in what you actually played on various tracks over the many years this has become a very welcome daily education for thousands of people all over the world. Sheffield lab created music with some wonderful artists over the years, pretty sure “Thelma Houston “ was my first experience of content from them and as you said from a musicians perspective it separated the men from the boys , quality stuff👍. 12 years or so ago I had bleacher seats at the parade and it was the rainiest event I had ever been at. My best friends daughter was marching in it for her high school band from Chicago. She had to march the entire 5 mile route in her wool suit playing clarinet. It was the first time in over 50 years that it rained at the Rose Parade. When you have to dry your money with a hair dryer then you know it rained. Happy New Years all!

I remember hearing "Til They Take My Heart Away" on the radio when it first came out and thinking "that sounds like Lee Sklar on bass!" so I bought the CD. It clearly has that Sklar hook. I'm fortunate to still have that original recording and it truly is *outstanding*. Thanks to Clair, Lee, and Bill Schnee & Doug Sax for capturing that musical magic for posterity.

A while back you were hoping to feature Tina Arena and was unable to. While being disappointed at her displaying a very self focussed approach to the pandemic, her performance last night in Sydney was exemplary. She started with a couple of not so typical songs, then sang 'I'm in chains' with her usual panache. She finished with fabulous rendition of 'Back in Black'. I'm not really a fan of hers, but I acknowledge what a phenomenal artist she truly is.

Happy new year to Lee and everyone else! I love this community and it's been a big relief for me getting through this pandemic. I really have to check this artist out. I've never heard of her before and I really like the songs. The sound is very organic, even through the Bose speaker. The bass gets through very well and in my opinion I can hear that it's live. This seems to be a must for a vinyl maniac as me.
