I liked how you explained your feelings about your body. I feel very similar. My body that I was born with gave me two amazing daughters so that was its gift to me. Now I'm changing to move on with the second phase of my life. How lucky am I that I will experienced being a mother and a father.

Such a wonderful message! It’s a great why of honouring our journeys, learning self love even for things we might not want or like about ourselves and understanding what we can and cannot control or couldn’t control.
Thanks, Kayl. I feel like "mindset" is something we can work on -- maybe not control entirely -- but ask ourselves if there are opportunities for reframing our approaches, or examining the ways language holds power over us.
Glad to see you back! I have "waxed" on the "wrong body" narrative also. Still not sure how I feel about it. I also struggle with being a man. Though my brain identifies that way, this body will always have it's female component. Even if I change it with hormones, surgery or whatever...at the end of the day it's still a female body. Hope you will expound on this subject. I've learned a lot from your videos and look forward to new ones.
Thanks, Charlie. More and more I have come to see my body as a kind of 'tween. I am no longer what I once was, physically. I've never really held onto the belief that I would become a cis male, but the changes that T has brought me have helped me feel more at home with myself. I see it less as a quest to attain maleness than an opportunity to expand into my being in ways that feel so innate, and yet went unrealized for decades. I am some form of "other" -- yet in a way that feels affirming of self, if that makes sense.
