So I decided to be adventurous and for the first time take a speed boat to my lil piece of paradise. It was a 32ft boat with two 250hp Suzuki engines all white and she was a beauty. The estimated time it would was said to be 2 1/2 hours once we exited the harbour. The lighthouse house on Paradise Island to the light on Big Rock just outside Moore's Island Abaco is 80 miles and the 5 miles to the dock at Hard Bargin Moore's Island. We left from the eastern side of the Potter's Cay Dock passing under both bridges along the harbor passing thru the scenic waterway harbor of Nassau along the cruise port and then out the harbor. After leaving New Providence behind it was just us and the deep blue ocean as we speed along there were many rain squall in the distances but luckily we weren't caught up in any. A very large tanker also cross our pathot was also a first for me to see the lighthouse located at Hole in the Wall. As I enjoyed the fresh breeze blowing of the ocean admiring the many different cloud and sky view as the water changed from dark blue to various colors of blues and greens it was spectacular. I was grateful for the experience and that we arrived safe.
