85 Polaris Trailboss 250r carb rebuild carburetor 1985 vintage 4 wheeler 

I believe you forgot to put the washer on with the new float valve seat. If it leaks, it will leak into the float bowl and overflow it into the air cleaner and crankcase.

Were did you get your carb rebuild kit? Do you remember what the part number was?

What size is the carb?

I’m 14 and I have a 1986 trailboss 250 that needs a carb rebuild and probably a top end pretty soon. This video helped a lot!
