Great bike. I plan to use your tip on the jetting. I was thinking your neighbors must love you, I couldn’t get away with that here. Then I caught at the end someone yelled at you. I think I would get worse on my street.
Right on, Thank you for that info really appreciate it! I think I have watched all your vids, I love em, your bikes badass. Did you recommend the pod filters or can I keep the stock air intake housing, even though its big ugly and awkward? Thanks again for responding
YVW Lucas. Preciate your props bro. Yes you can keep your airbox. The jet sizes will be smaller to run a stock air box and high flow pipes set up. I love my pod filters. I can float the front wheel when I grab 2nd hard. WITH OUT pulling up on the bars. That's also because of the hard tail too. Meaning more power is being put to the rear tire because there is no rear shock absorbing the torque load. But yes. Stock box is ok. RECCOMEND POD FILTERS. SHE IS SO FAST LOL
Hey boss, I have the same bike same year bobbed out, please tell me your jet setup and exhaust. I have straight pipes but have not rejeted. How can I make mine sound like your bike!! Sounds perfect. Thank you!
Hey Lucas. Thank you. SHe does sound nice LOL. Rejetting has ALLL to do with where you live. AT SEA LEVEL or above. Best thing to do is go to carbjetkits.com and call them with your set up. They were dead on with mine. The pipes are the stock head pipes with 1.75" OD extension pipes. 14" long. I made my own baffles out of a stainless brackets. ROUNDED THE CORNERS. Drill a hole at both ends.. Bent them in half and slid them inside the pipes. ONE hole is to mount them to the pipe. The other hole is for back pressure. Red Lock tight and your done. The baffles were placed 3.5 inches inward from the end of the pipe.
