This video was absolutely fascinating! I've watched it 3 times now. This, in my opinion, was one of your best. Thanks, Chris, for taking me to a location that I'll never get the chance to visit. I'm delighted to be a paid subscriber to your channel. When I get a notification of a new release from you, I go there almost immediately. You're the best, Chris!

That was amazing! Made it so much more interesting when you explained what the areas had been used for over the different centuries, well done! Sorry you didn't stumble upon the cemetery during your explore, maybe it was on the side of the property least cared for...? Excellent explore, Chris - thanks for taking us along!

I've been to Belgium a couple of times and on both trips, there was allotted time for tourism. I've never been hear, but Belgium is, in my opinion, a "hidden gem" for American tourists who might not even consider going there if they visit Europe. It's a beautiful country, wonderful people and the history is very old and rich, even by European standards. I hope you make your way to Antwerp but, honestly, any old city (and not just Bruges) is a wonderful place to visit and document. Oh, and be sure to enjoy a few pounds of chocolate. Belgium chocolate truly is the best in the world!

I'm surprised you're able to plod about unfettered through the ruins. Anyone willing to cross an ocean to this awesome little country roughly the size of Los Angeles County would be well served to visit the Trappiste monks of Rochefort. There, you can purchase the best beer in the world. Everybody knows it. Not far down the road, maybe 4 or 5 kilometers, you can visit the village of Han-sur-Lesse and their world-famous grottos and safari park. Horum omnium fortissimi sunt Belgae

It's so sad that magnificent buildings are in ruins like this all over Europe. In the UK, we have so many places like this that could be restored. I feel we have lost pride in our history. Henry 8th created so much destruction in Britain.
