@Death, Be not proud She wears a white military uniform with a captains hat I.E this odd subgroup of people that think drawing comparisons between drawings is in some way meaningful in some way go on to see Leena wearing a similar uniform to Esdeath as the two appearing similar despite every other feature save gender and having long hair being unalike. Tis a human trend to see two things and attempt to warp them until 1 = 1 in their mind.
Seriously tho! When I clicked on it and saw aniplex. I litterally sang it like ‘A-Ni-pLEX’ and there was no sound or anything which kinda shocked me so I checked my speakers and increased the volume then the trailer started and my volume was high so that scared me too ( I had air pods on) so whenever you don’t hear ‘A-Ni-pLEX’ just be aware cos it isn’t gonna end well.
I think she meant that women isn't important enough for him to spend his last times with and she wants him to spend it with her instead but she can't say it.
@@Yakuson1196 Havent watched it yet but I assume "that woman" was the general woman(or whatever she was) and that the "you might die tomorrow" is because hes with her all night fighting? Or something along those lines? (trailer seems interesting)
Number one rule for a series like this. As hard as it might be don’t get emotionally connected to any of the characters not even the main ones. Giving me AOT vibes in the sense that basically no ones safe
That is pretty deep , unfortunately it is true. Inviting refugees into western countries and expecting them not to behave like they did in their own countries is incredibly cruel and naive.
The country this story is set in is an unholy horrific combination of the propaganda of the German Democratic Republic, the racism of Jim Crow-era Democratic America, and the militarization of Cold War-era Kim Il-sung's North Korea. Ah... and the good guys fight for this state.
This trailer deserves so much more attention. This is gonna be one of those shows where people dont hop on until that one hype moment. This is gonna be amazing and people are gonna regret not coming along for the ride in the beginning
@@mozzaplaysgames7897 I wouldn't say underrated given its MAL score. It fits more into the definition of underwatched given how overshadowed it is from other big anime like AOT and Demon Slayer currently
@@AnonR Yeah I guess underwatched would be the word because personally I rated it 10/10 in the first season when it seemed like it was hardly getting spoken about xD
I'm getting the impression that this will be one of those series that causes a lot of idiots to misinterpret the message and either identify with or be offended by that misinterpretation. Get ready for the controversies guys, crazies are about to come out of the woodworks.
Cancer fan, be like: I agree they will never understand the depth of good art like they did with SNK lol, and there too another type of dumb person : Those idiots who have never thought about concepts, values, in life in general. Too much useless mind here to consume entertainment like drugs, alcohol while some entertainment has a lot of philosophy and life lessons.
This is such a fantastisc show. If you have any reservations let me lay them to rest. 86 fits all of the criteria of what makes a plot great, what makes interesting characters, and steller animation! Not to mention the deep symbolic plotlines and imagery. It's a show that despite high review scores is massively under recognised. Hyroyuki Sawono's score is just is the perfectly tops it all off. Give it a watch and you won't regret it! It's good to the point the the original author cryed when he saw the final episode.
@Chief Sy -Anime and Gaming- Don't really wanna start a whole debate but this is just straight-up wrong. True there is a lot of bad light novel adaptations based on bad Light novels but there is also Great Anime based on Great Ln. ReZero, Konosuba, Slime, Shield Hero(The anime exceeded the Novel here tho), Jobless, Overlord(If you overlook the CGI but that's from the anime, not the novel), Devil is a Part-timer, snaifu and the list goes on. And as someone who has read all of these novels up to the English translation and has watched all of the Anime I can guarantee if that the source material for 86 is equal or greater than any of these. It's just up to A-1 Pictures to adapt that source material well. And on the other hand, its not like all adapted Manges its just a matter of quantity.
@Chief Sy -Anime and Gaming- This is one of the best light novels I have red and I don't like LN in general because there is only Re:Zero I appreciate, everything else is full of tropes. SAO would be in the bottom-tier list for bad LNs. 86 has Isayama written all over it. It's serious, dark and depressing. Vol 1 cover the first arc of the internal camp and the war. If people enjoy Attack on Titan they might like this.
It honestly doesn't look that interesting that I'd say most anticipated but I'm sure as hell gonna watch it all the way through. I'm more excited for To Your Eternity and Tokyo Revengers.
I literally just remembered reading this light novel years ago yesterday from watching my friends talk about Attack on Titan, the timing on this announcement is crazy.
Wasn't aware of that tbh, I was literally given the first three novels in pdf format and read those, I think that's all they had at the time. This was back in like 2019.
Those brief shots of Spearhead Squadron going up against the Legion look amazing. I'm so happy to see that this series is finally getting the attention it deserves.
I have watched over 400 anime and it took 3 years but could never choose my favourite anime but I watched this all in one night and it is the best anime ever and its ok if you don't think so but its definitely has the best ending in all history ever.
My anime list for spring 2021 keeps on getting longer and longer but I don’t mind because all of them look amazing especially 86, it’s the one I’m most looking forward to watching!!
YES YES YES I WAS WAITING FOR THIS, LET'S GOOOOOOOO I've read all of the translated novels and I can tell you right now, if this anime is done correctly, it has the potential to be up there with the greats. Make way for the Undertaker.
This will be my aot substitution. I don't know if the shows really are similar. But it's a group of people that are seen as monsters by the society fighting in a war for said society. It feels like we will get screentime for many characters. The show will probably also showcase the different sides of war. And lastly the soundtrack is by HIROYUKI SAWANO which will definitly cause even further HYPE. (plus the production just looks amazing so far)
I know it just started, but I am pretty on board for this after it's first episode. Tons of story elements to work with in what appears will be a more serious sci-fi military drama.
@@rimurutensei2807 outside the republic control area is uncharted territory and going without supplies is akin to suicide, it’s overrun with legion when they are forced out they are given a single months of supplies and are to never come back
Trust me, if you love a good, smart, exciting, and moving show with amazing world building, characters, stories (no matter if anime fan or not)... this is for you. Don't waste any more time, it's only 11 episodes that will feel like a second and a full life at the very same time.
Never heard of this before, but from what I’m interpreting from this trailer, it makes me think of Iron-Blooded Orphans and Ender’s Game for some reason.
If anyone that hasn't watched this anime sees this: Please watch this anime. It got nooooo where near as much attention as Vivy pre-release and people are missing out. This is easily contender for AotY. Sound design, Cinematics, CG/2d Animation, weekly changing op/ed, all contribute to what is easily one of the best mech anime ever made. That's not an understatement. The last mech anime with anywhere near this quality was Iron Blooded Orphans. Franxx was fine in between these two but the actual extra effort put into 86 is insanely noticable. The scenes shift with intent, plot holes are purposely created and then filled, and everything leads to 1 of 3 ed's composed by Sawano depending on the mood.
i was out of the loop with 86, i mistakenly thought that part 1 and 2 were both full 25 episode seasons, so i got the end and was ready for the story to continue. i watched it across 2 evenings and was really engrossed in it. i really hope this gets a season 3 as i really loved it. and it feels like it really well set up for a decent arc. i hope this is a series we get to see the end of and not one that is left open ended.
Guys definitely have to see this anime, its light novel (the original material) is ranked 15th best made. So if a great adaptation is made by A-1 Pictures it will surely be one of the best anime of the year.
And where is that ranking from? Im pretty sure any ranking for the most part can't be accurate and say 'EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ/WATCH THIS'. It's all up to individuals, not the people who ranked it and depending on the site, could've made several accounts or botted to up its rating.
@@pokejedi5184 it's from MyAnimeList. And people are actually trying to rate it down so that the score can be 8.6 to match the title. Plus it won the 2016 Dengeki Grand Prize Novel award so thats already a lot more merit than most series currently
wow. i have no words, this is one of the best trailers iv'e seen the past several years, and the music composition is so fitting and amazing too. im looking forward for the first episode
Basically, it's a mish-mash of 1984, Matrix, Gundam, Votoms, Battletech and, later on, some Romeo and Juliet, all sprinkled heavily with Violet Evergarden. It's an amazing series.
This anime is incredible! Animation is wonderful, voices actors are good, story is beautiful, hard, but deep, it shows the absurdity of war, its consequences on warrior survivors and how people in peace take advantage of it. And what about the music. Only big names in this anime and it worth it!
This gave me depression during some episodes bruh. Maybe I am just a crybaby but damn this one got me right in the feels. The art, music, those eyes and mimics really damn amazing. But the last few epidoes got me cryin in rivers🥲❤ ouch.
Morals, make a man want to appear as a savior. Pride, makes man no more than a false knight. Needless to say that morals mean nothing without actions to prove them.
Coming back here, it really reminds me of Armored Core. Between this and Knight's and Magic, that's probably the closest we're going to get to a full-fledged AC anime.
recommendations for similar animes? it feels empty now that we have to wait for who knows how long for a continuation of 86 and i wish i could find something else to watch for distraction during the wait
I realized that the trailer only showed the spearhead squadron members name and seiyuus that survived throughout the season. This also applies to the official poster as well.
Just finished watching it twice, and i have to admit it ... the english voice (Dubbed) is on the point... makes you feel even better the anime... nice anime.
Just 2 days till the first episode is released!! I know A-1 Pictures won’t disappoint, I hope they do the light justice and pace it very well, hopefully they will adapt the whole light novel when it’s finished, I can’t wait to see Shin and Lena together!!!!!!!
My Top 5 anime this season that people need to watch 1. *Nomad: Megalo Box 2* 2. *To Your Eternity* 3. *Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song* 4. *86 Eighty-Six* 5. *Tokyo Revengers*
