In this video, we go through the process of pulling an old prop off the shaft. The prop gets a makeover and the shaft gets new packing for the seal. We also have our first successful test run.
It runs great for about a 1/2 hour. There’s something going on with it getting fuel that doesn’t seem to start until it’s ran for a while. Seems starved for gas at that point. Often won’t start. Fuel pump is new. 🤷♂️
Looking to get my 1988 Ski Nautiques prop looked at. Hit a rock in the lake and banged it up a bit on the edges. Located in suburbs of Chicago. Curious if that place would take a look at it/ general cost of getting yours redone…
