The Toyota GT one performs alot worse compared to other GR.2 cars in the game due to the heavier handling at low speeds and generally lower average speed around technical circuits!
it boasts the highest Topspeed in its class at around 350kmh with great acceleration, which makes it a great choice on track like La Sarthe or Highspeed Ring!
The car also doesn't produce alot of downforce compared to GT500 or DTM Machines, which can make it difficult at times to judge when the car suddenly decides to take off for no reason on kerbs and uneven surfaces!
Unfortunately Poliphony gave this car the Alfa Romeo 155 treatment. which means it's much slower in comparison to its real life counterpart!
So expect that you loose around 7 seconds per lap against its IRL brother!
As far as driving goes, you have to calculate the increased amount of understeer into your racing line aswell as braking points on certain tracks that could be otherwise taken at full throttle!
safe to say it's not a easy car to learn, but fun to drive around the Circuit once you've got the basics down!
I personally think that this car is a bit disappointing in terms of what it can do compared to older GT Games! Therefore I can only recommend this car to people who are collectors or nostalgist!
