I’m really glad you got one! Youre a massive Beatle collector and you definitely deserve this amazing Beatles collectible! I got one too and also had to camp outside the shop all night. I was also one of the people who talked all night! I say that because until you said anything I didn’t realize I may have been keeping others awake around us that wanted to sleep. In all sincerity I would suggest to you and them ear plugs, to anyone and everyone really, all the time, I use them almost every night because the ruckus my cats always cause. There really are plenty of kinds out now that won’t fatigue your ear canals and that you can block out speaking voices while still hearing loud noise if it occurs, such as the burgeoning noise that beginning at sunrise and plateauing when the shop doors open. I definitely didn’t always have this as my go-too remedy but now a days the way I see it is you’re taking control of the noise and what you do or don’t want to hear. I guess your friends could have been a litttle more considerate seeing as I saw a video earlier where the people awake chatted very quietly for the people snoring around them haha. Anyway. Dude, you did it. You bloody did it!! I still feel like it wasn’t real. Have you ever done it? Was my first time

Great very cool collectable items! My favorite is the mini Beatles turntable and records. I also love the colored vinyl too! Poor Brad, you really did sound tired in this video.

Nothing wrong with your dedication! 9pm the day before, and you weren't even first in line. The Beatles box set was the highlight for me. I got the very last one at my record store so i got lucky! Also picked up John Lennon and Ringo Starr. Thanks again, Brad!

I actually had a post-Record Store Day this morning. Reckless Records in Chicago is just 4 blocks from the office building I work in, so I looked at the leftover list on their website, saw Mind Games listed (black or glow in the dark, I didn't care which) and sneaked out to pick it up. I felt a bit weird paying 32 bucks for 4 songs, but then I remembered you bought that record player with the 3-inch singles, which i imagine was a hell of a lot more. I was tempted to pick up the picture disc of Wonderwall Music, but...picture disc? Uh, yeah-no...I also never could get into Electronic Sound, so I passed on both of those. It 3was just great getting Mind Games, it was the only thing I wanted.

@@beatlebrad5339 I played the Mind Games EP when I got home this evening and it sounds wonderful. I vey much liked the outtake of You Are Here, but I did miss the Hawaiian guitar and those beautiful backup singers. John himself was in great voice all throughout the album.

I went to my closest record store at noon and got the last Beatles package turntable set. Also U2, Mr Big and I got Metallica 72 Seasons (just a great album)

@@beatlebrad5339I don’t think I’ll open The Beatles turntable package. There were other RSD releases I missed. At the record store I went to, you had to tell the clerk behind the counter what you wanted. I couldn’t browse through them. Thanks for your videos !! 😊
@@beatlebrad5339they didn’t sell the RSD stuff like that last year. But, the reason why they had control over everything, was due to people buying up everything and then reselling. So, it was one copy per person. They could have still caught that at checkout you’d think ?? 🤔

The Harrison picture disc look very cool. I would love to see them spinning and the mini movies going around the edges etc. The mini record player is smaller than I imagined and the mini record case was cool. You should do a midnight video of the glow in the dark LP too. thanks for sharing ...take care

Hi Brad Great haul But there is something wrong with RSD that vinyl guys like you need to spend a night queuing to get records you want. Why can’t we preorder and go and pick them up. What if the store hasn’t got your record or the flippers snap them up. There has to be a better way

No!!! That’s what the film was shot in Black and White!!! Are people going back and colorizing classic films shot in black and white??? No!!! The colorized films never look natural anyway!! Bad idea!!!
Thanks for your thoughts on this. And you know they have gone back and did a bunch of old B/W Movies into Color. Turner Classics on TV have been doing it for years lol yes!!!!
