Adesanya is not only a fighter but he's also a mentalist, he employs a lot of the distraction tricks magicians use in the ring! He has absolutely no intention of beating his opponent to pulp and is more interested in delivering shock hits! People say he's arrogant but the way his fighting style is one of someone with 0 ego. If he could knock you out by tickling he would gladly tickle you and walk away! If you're a linear punch kick fighter your chances are low because he's got so much stuff in his arsenal! I really used to hate UFC because it was so linear then I watched this guy fight and he's fluid, he's distracting, he's tapping, he's talking to you, he's taunting, he's using the momentum when you bounce off the ropes, he's studying your sequences, he's running away when he needs to, he throwing more kicks than most fighters throw in their entire career! It's like he's an entire encyclopedia of how to win a fight and if you are a linear fighter you are almost guaranteed to get beat!
I used to do Kyokushin Karate with Jamie Eades. Watching him fight in karate tournaments was incredible. He would destroy most of his opponents. The fact that Israel Adesanya took him out so easily is mind blowing. Really tells you how good Adesanya is.

Thought Jamie was shown to at least throw one cross as best recalled specificially, that looked to significantly close the distance, Isreal's legs pressing forward were really attackish.
