As far as I know, Prilyud 3 was installed by distributor Hitachi and TEC and they differ in design. Looks like a Hitachi in the video. Interesting. you can put Hitachi instead of TEC....
It's weird I bought an aftermarket distributor off a3rd gen from the junk yard. Looks brand new but no matter what I do I can't get the shaft out! I've taken the OEM distributor apart a million times but this one the shaft won't budge and if I try to tap it out it looks like the bearing is starting to rip apart as well. Im stuck! It looks like the shaft is connected to the round metal part that is in the bearing because when the shaft spins so does that metal ring
The bearing and the shaft is 2 parts. Just break the bearing. It is good to replace a new bearing. But make sure the shaft is good. Otherwise, it’s better to buy another distributor.
@@DIGonzalez84 sorry I can’t remember, I replaced few months ago before I repair the distributor. I think it could be the same size as the Cyl sensor. Remember the O’ring is not for preventing oil leaks, it is for stopping the water to get in, same as the Cyl sensor. So, as long as the size fit with no gaps, then it is good enough. You can take the distributor to bearing shop to test the right size. That’s how I bought my O’rings~
@@ChannelMAsk Thanks. 12.5X32X10?? Also for the seal why not BH3888? I used it on my CYL SENSOR and it fit great. You can get the kit (seal + rubber O-ring) on ebay for $7.99 delivered
@@ChannelMAsk I would gladly pay you extra to purchase one of these bearings and ship it to the U.S... I can't find this bearing at any bearing shop or online.
