I just returned from one week on the beautiful island of Kefalonia! Even though it is January, the weather was sunny and wonderful! I am American, it was my second time in Greece.
Watching this beautiful video and music I realized how life is to short to see all beautiful places I like to visit. Thanks Robert for staining video, it's make my day.
For example: Kamari, Amidi, Koutsoupia, White rocks, Gialiskari (some calls Mytikas) you can go by foot from Aghia Eleni, Lefka beach on south part of island. and some beaches between Myrtos and Assos without name. Fantastic island

Apart from missing Megali Ammos and Spasmata (both are well known,have canteens and are next to the airport),you have done a fantastic job! Amazing to see my beautiful island so well presented.A big thanks and two thumbs up from a proud-to-be-Kourlos Cephalonian. *kourlos=crazy in the local dialect
Hello Jud.Man ,if I told you on the Internet,they wouldn't be secret anymore. :P Actually,there is no need for such a tip.Some of the beaches described on the video are not so crowded and some are so big that have quiet spots.If I were to advise you on something is to make sure you get a car.And a second tip is to make sure you visit the top of Mount Aenos.1628 METERS high quarantees awesome view.

I have never seen so much beauty in one video with 37 min on 1 island! I have been to Lefkada 3 years ago and it was beautifull, but this is taking my brath away.This is amazing! Thanks to the author of this video, I make my decision for this summer - Kefalonia for sure. 😍😇🤩💙🤍💙🐬🐟🌅

Kefalonia is also my travel goals since i read an Article in the Magazin. It say's that this Place is not so Touristic place in Greece and its very different from more Touristic Iland in Greece
It is a difficult question. We like all visited islands. Everyone is different and interesting. Our favorites are Samos, Corfu, Santorini, Kefalonia, Karpathos ... and all of Greece. :-)

verylife78 Δεν ειμαι ακριβως ντοπια Κεφαλονιτισα αλλα επειδη ο μπαμπας μου εχει γεννηθει εκει και εχοουμε.ενα σπιτι σε χωριο του Λυξουριου εχω παει πολλες φορες για πολλα χρονια.Αξιζει να πατε στο Φισκαρδο στη κουνοπετρα στη λιμνη Μελισσανης στο σπηλαιο της Λρογαρατης στα μοναστηρια της στον Αγιο Γερασιμο και σε πολλες ωραιες παραλιες οπως στο Μυρτω στους Πετανους στο Ξι στα Κηπουρια νομιζω ειναι μοναστηρι με υπεροχη θεα στη θαλασσα.Η Κεφαλονια ειναι η αγαπη μου και θα ναι παντα στη καρδια μου.Εχει και ενα υπεροχο βουνο τον Αινο με ελατα αλλα το φρουρουν στρατιωτες για προστασια και δεν πλησιαζεις ευκολα ουτε το χω δει απο κοντα αλλα μου το χει πει ο μπαμπας μου και το χω διαβασει σε εγκυκλοπαιδεια.Ειναι υπεροχη και θα δειτε οταν πατε θα σας μεινει αξεχαστο το νησι μας.Καλη συνεχεια καλοκαιριου και με το καλο να πατε και να καλα να περασετε ευχομαι.
:-) Nevím, jak to myslíte s těmi letovisky - tohle je video pouze o plážích. Více bude v kompletním přehledu Kefalonie (zajímavosti, hrady, kláštery, památky, ...) ... ale to bude nějaké ty měsíce trvat :-)
Hey, this is an awesome video. I am planing to go to Greece next week and wasn't sure where I want to go. I think I know now. Can you suggest a good place for a first time visitor? I am planing to drive though, so I guess I can board my vehicle on to a boat somwhere from Lefkada? Any tip is greatly appreciated, :)
Hi. Visit Assos with castle, Melissani and Drogarati caves, Atros monastery, Cafe Bar Remetzo at Poros, Sesto Hill Bar over Koroni beach for sunset view, church of Agia Varvara near Prokopata, Ag, Theodoroi lighthouse, and more places :-) .... beaches you see in this video :-)
Dear Robert, I cannot wait for your video about Skopelos, Skiathos and Alonissos - I have resarched them and they seem a great choice of yours (as usually). I however planned to go back on Kefallonia starting 0.06 but the Ionian and Aegean are very cold these year so I thought I would check one of those: Kos, Rodos, Kypros (not north tho). We are looking mainly for good swimming conditions - unspoiled mostly not organised, quiet beaches (like Dafnoudi, Porto Timoni (Afionas), Fteri etc Which one of these island would be the best in your opinion?.

We were on Kefalonia last year thank to you and we absolutely loved it (best island next to Crete) but the weather wasnt very good (a lot of rain in June) so we wanted to go back there this year - as it seems this time the sea will be cold we are thinking about other direction (even though we would go back on Kefalonia as soon as possible). From Kos, Kypros, Samos and Rodos which is the best in your opinion? We are leaning toward Rodos... Oh and next year (thank to you again) we are going on Karpathos via Czech tourist operator :)

I have a question tho: when the video on Kefallonia was taken? Was it June? I arrive on 21st and am wondering if the whether will be good and sea warm? I have also heard that the weather can vary in different places on island. Is there a way to check it?

Maybe one more question! Which way is best to get to FTERI and DAFNOUDI beach by car (I know that you need to go by foot part of the way but I wonder where to start/park a car)? Z góry dziękuję!
Značení je klasicky červenými tečkami. Když si přiblížíš mapu a přepneš na satelitní pohled na mých stránkách zde: www.fototravel.info/kefalonia/c_kefalonia_fteri_beach.php je tam skoro přesně vyznačená trasa. Délka trasy 1,5 km od začátku vyznačené stezky, cca 40-80 min. Dafnoudi je jednoduché - asi 0,5km od parkoviště (vyznačeno na mapě).
@@robertpolasek Thank you for your advice Robert. I've managed to accommodate in Farsa, which is also near. We had the most wonderful time, and managed to visit only 15 beaches in 7 days with a child :) It's because of your video, I've visited this island and was able to decide where to go! At times it felt like following your footsteps :))) Thank you very much for your guidance and keep up the excellent work! Very good quality of picture and composition. It takes a great talent to record and produce such a video in such a short time.
Dobrý den. Název Elios Proni je oblast, kde se nachází tyto bezejmenné pláže. Leží 2-3 km severně od letoviska Skala, před hotely Pelagos Bay a Porto Skala. 😉👋
