Thank you for your insight for the kata because I always thought the kata is just purely elbow strike. But I believe the Naihanchi kata can also be an elbow strike to the head as the arm extends out holding air then the elbow of the other arm moves toward that arm. It kinda gives the vibe that Naihanchi shodan itself is a clinch fighting technique.
