Erusean HQ Top Brass: We can’t launch the anti-satellite missiles, it could cause a global communication blackout and our country to fragment! Aide: (Shows a live-video feed of Three Strikes tearing through all of Farbanti’s defenders with laser fire in an anime-decorated jet) Top Brass: Launch all the anti-satellite missiles now! In any event, that’s the first time I’ve seen someone completely clear Farbanti. Awesome.
You can actually clear the map with a lot less score than this - for example, the air spawns stop with 20 seconds to go, so you won't see any squadrons beyond the current one. You can do that with any other aircraft, and I argue it's more fun because you don't have to play in a specific way to avoid ally killstealing.
So here's the thing... I've never actually played GFL, nor plan to, despite a couple of my friends inviting me to (I'm already busy with one gacha!). But this skin was just too dang nice not to use - not even for the raifu, it just looks *great*! -, and you know me, I gotta stick to a theme. Probably went a bit too in-depth for someone with zero knowledge, but hey, worth the effort.
You were saying in the description about how this mission is your fave because of flow, but what do you think of Anchorhead Raid? For me it's up there as a top mission along with M13, it's got really good flow with a good need for prethought on what weapons you'll use and weather to start to the south or north, along with the boss battle being way better and less BS than Mr X in this one.
Anchorhead Raid comes *really* close: my only issue with it is that I inevitably end up farming the respawning Su-35 and Hornets, which is kinda boring. Even here, going absolutely balls out, I only spend a couple of minutes on the air squadrons, and they are different aircraft and with different spawn points. It is a phenomenal mission regardless, though.
okay so I've gotta know why go straight for mister x right at the start of the second sequence? hes got plot armor or were ya just showing oof dem skillz oh and also ive never seen anyone avoid the aegis ashore like that for so long
@@theodorixjohnson4336 Hitting him immediately kickstarts the baiting sequence. You can see bar works when Fencer is shot down, it take a couple of minutes otherwise. Destroying the Aegis Ashore spawns the F-2 ace, far to the south and he runs away. I didn't want to detour just to get him.
@@TugaAvenger I just realized that you used the BGM from their Guilty Gear + BlazBlue collab event Man, you brought me nostalgia, since that event is around the time i started playing GFL Cant believe its has been nearly 2 years since..
@@alexhndr I'd have preferred to use "native" GFL music throughout to fit the theme, but really, most GFL tracks are good but just not that suitable for AC. GG, on the other hand... You know what'd change that? Instrumental What Am I Fighting For. The vocalist is great but man, so are the beats.
Thank you. I am to please. By the way, and spoilers for everyone else, but... While I was browsing music, I read some comments to the effect of M16 being corrupted in some form. Could you give me a summary of that? I'm just curious, I've always find that kind of theme very interesting.
M16 had defected to Sangvis Ferri at some point after she had last been seen sacrificing herself for other team members, at least from what I know. (Chapter 8 or 10 maybe? Might also be from an event) Though, *major* spoilers. . .SF isn’t your only enemy. ..... Throughout the game, you were contracted by the KCCO (Russian Spetsnaz/SOCOM unit) to fight SF. But at around Chapter 10, they betray you (killing 2 of your T-Dolls) and you get labeled a terror group after dirty bombs were detonated by an FSB agent you worked with (Ange, I think). Apparently, the FSB and KCCO had some internal friction between each other, as the Russian government wanted to work with the West (their former enemies from WW3) while the KCCO (many of them veterans of WW3) still viewed the U.S. and NATO as their enemy. Anyway, you should read up on the wiki if you want more details/clarification.
Some extra's When you thought KCCO is already a bad news, Cult of Paradeus pops up (they popped up starting from Continuum Turbulence). Even more terrifying than KCCO. Since some of their units have *F O R C E S H I E L D*, and can instantly melt your dolls in one single salvo.
@@TugaAvenger tldr M16A1 "defected" to enemy faction after being corrupted by enemy virus (keep in mind that M16A1 is not a human, she's robot or "Tactical doll" in the universe). Even when she already belong to enemy faction, she still cares about her former team members. Basically GFL version of Big Boss from MGS.
I still get mail notifs for comments, you know. Glad your console's been saved :P But hey, 50k is more than respectable with most aircraft. Don't sweat it.
@@TugaAvenger Haha thanks. Dont worry, no matter how mad I can be at this game sometime I would NEVER do such thing at my 2013 jet engine. Glance at controller
I wish they kept the allied mechanics from 6 since i never got an Xbox.. So cool for the large scale battles. I miss my wing man as well even tho the Ai wasn't top notch it was nice to have them with you to do a little more the just poke the enemy lol
@@redsgrave2003 Guess Trigger leading the way got them to stop sitting on their hands and get serious. Also, anyone else feel immense satisfaction whenever you hear the enemy saying something like "Look what happened to our forces! DAMN YOU, THREE STRIKES!!" over the radio? Lol
One of the Japanese players, either Nyanpire or Ashley did a score run of Fleet Destruction and the last 30 seconds of their run had no spawns. Not sure if that's truly all of the enemies but if it is, that means that taking out all targets without cheats is possible (the run I'm thinking of actually missed Chasseur, though)
this run was insane and shows why farbanti is my favourite stage but i can't help but laugh at the fact that you said "all tracks from the girls frontline ost" and the second song is from guilty gear (yes, i know they collab'd because i failed to get elphelt myself)
Somehow watching this makes me feel like less of a player and it ruins all other experiences related to it. I don't think I can even watch someone else play this mission now without feeling like they aren't that impressive.
Please, don't. I gave it my all here, using the most powerful setup in the game and countless attempts. This is far beyond what even I can do on a regular run, and by no means does it devalue you or any other player.
Thank you! Stonehenge is great - both in gameplay, and because it was such a nostalgia trip for long time fans. The moment the "Stonehenge Defensive" card showed up, as Mission 12, 18 years after Ace Combat 04's Mission 12, Stonehenge Offensive, where we destroyed all the other cannons... that was great. And the final shot is one of the best moments in AC, ever.
This is a special case, because it's more strategy than performance. You can lose a lot of points here to friendly AI stealing kills. I took some seemingly inefficient paths here, just to minimize that.
The pulse laser is the only special weapon i have reservations about using. I dont think an OP weapon is a huge problem in a single player enviroment but the lasers still feel out of whack with the rest of the game. Especially compared to the TLS. Nice run!
Surprisingly, there's a few missions where other weapons actually fare better in score runs (Cape Rainy, DLC 1 and 2). But in most other missions, PLSL is the undisputed king. Not so straightforward in MP, where EML/QAAM pose a great challenge. And thank you.
UGB with A-10! for searchlights shenanigans, TLS for DLC1 (pure A2A, very long range), and SFFS/LACM (too cloudy and SO MANY SHIPS the sledgehammers win).
Honestly, I think it’s more that the TLS is way too WEAK: there’s seldom a reason to use it since even Drones take a long time to kill with it. If they made it so that the TLS were a super fast kill on drones but still took a long time on manned planes, I think it’d be more balanced. OR, they could make it have a wider hit zone
This is one of the most common comments I get. Makes me a bit sad, because I don't want to bring people down! These high score runs are pushed to the absolute extreme - my sweatiest flying, with an optimized target route, an extremely powerful aircraft/special weapon, and critically, dozens of tries. There's no reason not to be proud of your best results in other circumstances! 50k is still more than respectable.
The only thing preventing me from dipping back into AC7 is the sudden change of pace they do in pretty much every mission. I usually just want to tear through a big battle but really don't feel like fighting the time-gated boss battle at the end.
@@TugaAvenger that explains it. I dont tend to do that much damage early since I use the SU 35 with long range air to ground missiles and only swap when theres only aerial enemies left. Thanks for the reply! Love your channel
Dammit man,no matter what i do i only hit around 75k,i even try to copy your playing style, your skill is on another level dude, the most efficient player in this game is you!! Cheers man!!

73k is outstanding! I need a really good aircraft to get there - maybe not this, but at least something like a Rafale. And me? I'm made of patience to keep trying this out :p
I was wondering if you're using the Vortex Manager, how did you get your AC7 to be recognized. I want to flight with my raifus too.... Awesome video by the way!
@@TugaAvenger oh wow, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind to do a tutorial of how you're doing it. I'm practically at wit's end with the other managers
You probably haven't unlocked them (clear campaign, shoot down aces, complete the special conditions to unlock more skins) but if you mean this, this is a mod.
