8hrs cross-country!! New Zealand 2023 [ iron man ] 

126 people off the line at once!! I was set to test my mind, body, and bike when I entered this 8-hour cross-country race event. The conditions were sloppy. The nerves were high. Ended 7th in the ironman open. My bike, body and mind barely intact but I'm just happy I finished. Felt good, mentally, knowing I had raced for 8 hours. Huge thanks to all the team who worked hard setting up in that heavy rain, to all the riders who sent it and the Scott's family. Man, that was 1 epic event. 100% would do it again..... but in a team next time. Haha.
