@@sebastianelmqvist7071 i am still driving tractors that never even came with a seatbelt lucky they even came with a seat now the fancy new tractors have a fridge in them.
Man it would be cool to show this to my great grandpa, whos biggest achievement was buying one of Holt's tracked tractors and retiring his workhorses. I wonder what he would think.
I’ve loved John Deere since I was a kid and that 8rx is a beast really like the new sharper styling great work JD! I’ll take a die cast model if ya wanna send me one!!
The new John Deeres look fine. I needed a long time to accept the new look of Fendt when the 1050 was introduced and I'm not getting over the look of the new Massey Ferguson with the combine style driver cab.
I once got a free can of beer when I jokingly asked the driver of a Budweiser big rig if he had any free samples. So JD, any free samples? That 8RX looks astonishingly awesome.
I’ve been wanted to support Deere because it’s American founded company so switched from new holland to Deere and no complaints be a Deere customer from here on out
These look mint! How can CNH watch this vid and think they’re doing a great job... these tractors really are game changers and i hope the rx holds up as I think that’s gonna be a big player in the European market.
Brenden Perry you got a case of green envy! John Deere is like a beauty woman; everybody wants her. People that think they can get her want her; the rest of the bums sit around and make up lies, and talk trash about her, because they can't have her!
There’s a massive soy bean plantation property not far from where my father in-law lives, it’s a father and son operation (worth millions apparently) they have a sprint car racing team, all the latest Deere gear including a brand new 570hp 9rx with all the goodies, a late model D8T dozer, just about every Massey Ferguson wheel tractor ever built (and that’s no exaggeration) new Chevy silverados as company cars, 2 mansion houses on the property etc, list goes on you name it, they bloody have it. Anyway they have a 410 wheeled 8R and it’s their pride and joy due to its versatility they claim, can go anywhere, fit anywhere and just powerful enough to pull their implements
I'm sure I myself will get used to it, I thought the same about when the 8r came out in 2011 I preferred the 8030 series look but the new look grew on me.
The 4 track configuration is a total copy of Case IH. It's not a game changer when the biggest domestic competitor did it first - which Case IH probably copied from a Euro manufacturer. US tractors are great, but the innovators lay with Europe. I'll always love the Case 2094, Case IH 8950, MX220. The nostalgia is kicking in lol Nothing runs like a Deere. But nothing kills a Deere like a Magnum
Actually case has the row track with just wheels in the front and tracks and back. So technically John Deere is the first with a 4 track rowcrop tractor
@@illinoisfarmboy2457 you're absolutely right about the carbon copy. I think I was somehow confusing this with the Quad-track articulated design. STX vs John Deere equiv
The design/ how it is configured like not the interior but the exterior is very wierd like what's the point of redesigning the exterior of the tractor just wondering
@@janmacek6169 no its a genuine question. the old style worked fine all they would've had to do is just do all the other upgrades without changing the style of the exterior.
@@janmacek6169 you must be an engineer, engineers are infamous for changing something that worked to something new that doesn't just to keep their job.
@@Zero01k yeah I'm almost an engineer haha. But what's the problem in this, most people like the new design, beacuse it's NEW and it doesn't look like an outdated, 10 years old tractor🤷♂️And changing exterior can't cause much problems, beacuse it doesn't mean that the tractors have new machine and everything.. 🤔
We’re glad to hear you’re loving our new products! The new 8RX turns extremely well at any speed. Slow speed is one area where people assume it would be difficult to turn, but given the low ground pressure it is actually quite easy and smooth. Be sure to reach out to your local dealer to set up a test drive! If needed, you can find their contact information here: bit.ly/2Wur8Kn.
Thanks for your interest Paul! The 8RX was designed as a dedicated 4-track tractor to ensure customer performance and reliability expectations are met. We learned during testing that aftermarket bolt on track solutions would not allow us to meet our customers’ high expectations for performance and reliability therefore, John Deere will not be offering an aftermarket solution for previous generation 8R tractors.
Everybody on these kind of videos always comments how stupid deere is for making it easier to farm but I can bet that they are the city slickers who never worked a hard 12 hour day on a farm in their life. Deere is doing a good job with their equiptment for example making auto track that will turn the tractor around on its own. Wait until you read the comments on autonomus tractors.
Ethan, thanks for reaching out! The PTO Horsepower varies by model, and ranges from 182 to 310 (rated hp SAE). You can find more information about the new 8 Series Tractors here: bit.ly/2BQAzdO.
This command pro joystick is a direct copy of a 15 year old Fendt design. Other agco tractors and cnh followed with their design about 10 years ago, John Deere is the last one to the table with that. It is a straight up lie that the two airbag track suspension is the smoothest on the market, I owned one and this is old technology and an agco mt700 will bury it in ride quality. Any John Deere track system is absolutely horrible on the road. My fendts were less money when I traded and I won't go back. They are much smoother, quieter, more reliable, and my fuel consumption dropped 30%.

Thanks for asking, Hart! The new 2020 8 Series Tractors are equipped with both Independent-Link Suspension (ILS™) and a 3-point hitch. If you're interested, you can learn more here: bit.ly/2NEVvd1.
2 questions for John Deere, why is the gps reciever not centrally mounted and can the front camera see to the side- if so will be a big safety feature at road junctions
Thanks for your questions, Robert! The new cab and roof was designed to accommodate several different large tractor configurations, including the ability to offer a panorama roof for tractors equipped with loaders. That required us to place the receiver off to the side which has no negative impact on performance. The integrated cameras do offer some visibility to the sides, but not side angle views perpendicular to the left or right of the tractor.
We have not opened ordering yet. If you are interested, we recommend you to sit down with your local dealer to identify which configuration and options best meets your needs so you can be prepared when ordering does become available. "and for a limited time only buy one get the second at regular price and foreclose in half the time." Atleast the leather steering wheel, quick response seat, and mini fridge will be nice until the bank comes and gets it.
David Stout until u have to do maintenance, quadtracks are all well, good and very nice but the service/parts replacement intervals (not to mention the price of parts and fluids) are NIGHTMARISHLY high
Baron Marseille what does supporting America have to do with the fact that the CLAAS is an all around better combine? If the single rotor Deere was better they wouldn’t be going to a twin rotor design would they?
Baron Marseille claas is made here in America too. Deere is made in America and Europe as well. There are American employees working those jobs in the US. Why am I here? To get a good laugh at the features these new tractors have that Deere thinks they invented. They’re a few years behind on their cabs
I remember when a canopy was a luxury. Sure it’s nice to have cabs with AC and radio self steering and a host of other luxurious. Leather seats, heated and air seats. Coolers and so on. But with every opinion haded so is price. Now tractor 120 hp and up now come stander with cab and so many options. We have priced ourselves out of operating new tractors. They are so expensive now there’s not many of us that can afford purchasing new tractors that are 150 hp and up. Just a thought.
Buy used non def engines, then have someone tune them up for you. For example get a base 8series tractor and you could get another 100 hp for cheap when tuned since they're all the same engine in that lineup.
Thanks for asking! ILS is designed to mitigate power-hop, road-loap and improve ride quality in rough field conditions. Tracks solve these problems without the need for ILS. That is why 8RX does not have, nor need ILS. If you'd like to try it yourself you can request a demo here: bit.ly/2peoLzn.
