Here's a correction for some incorrect information that was presented in this video. If you already did or have previous research that allowed you to get Shiny Celebi you can't purchase the new Masterwork research BUT you will still be given the bonuses that those who purchase it would be getting.

You would think they would have some great raid bosses by now. I want zekrom or mew 2 to be back in raids. At least there will be fusions in July but hopefully I don’t need to do that much raids since I only remote raid. I am looking forward to the ultra unlock Mega raid day. I am hoping we get something amazing from that.

If you already have a shiny Celebi from the past you will get the bonuses of 2x duration on incences and lucky eggs WITHOUT having to purchase the research. You can enjoy the bonuses right from the start of the event. Also they said they will reduce the cooldown of the Mystery box, so you can open it more frequently to get the shiny Meltan (once a day I believe)

This may just purely be anecdotal experience for me but just the month ago I would trade with my girlfriend and it would be like every 10 to 20 pokémon we would get a lucky but now since they announced this 8th anniversary thing it's like every 40 or more pokémon we're getting lucky so I think that they artificially increase the rates recently so that when this event starts it feels like we're getting a boost, could just be me. Also I've daily gift traded battled and raided with numerous best friends over the course of the past three or four months and have not gotten a single lucky friend so thats weird too
I just bought the whispers in the wild research, and i’m wondering if after the event period the research will stay or not? Coz i just got started again this may and i dont have the pokemons from jhoto to finish the tasks
So if i already BOUGHT the celebi research, now i cant get another one (okay understandable) but i cant get the x2 incense and daily incense duration, and that sucks a lot, its not even fair, people who already got it should have the bonus up for free if we cant get it
So many complaints about Tynamo community day, but not the worst stills. At least we have a new shiny debut in this time community day and register to shiny dex.
OR and I am furious at Niantec for never doing this, If I go to a raid, I can join it and it will find random people to join me. That way Niantec gets me to leave the house, as they stated that their aim is AND I can actually do raids.

The yearly anniversary event is always so bad since the wild spawns are just the starters, which have a god awful catch rate. With Global GoFest being literally right around the corner and resource hording for that being important, this is terrible timing. No one wants to throw multiple balls at one mon.
@@Django84 They'll get all of mine on Global. I'm not wasting them on starters that have no reason to have such a poor catch rate. I usually sit this event out or just shiny check while I'm running errands. I love starters, don't get me wrong. I still need shinies of a handful of them to finish families, but trying to catch just for stardust and XP is a nightmare.
Hoping I can get both a Hundo Snivy and Popplio since Serperior and Primarina are one of my favorite starters took me forever to get Fennekin and Sprigatito and got both of those as Braixen and Floragato, since I haven't had much luck with getting a hundo Yveltal.
@@rcc1811 no he said for Pokémon you want hundos of, you can trade them with a small chance of getting lucky. Lucky trades work one of 3 ways. The first way is constant daily interaction between 2 trainers at best friend level. There is usually a 1% chance to become lucky friends where the next trade between those 2 trainers is guaranteed to be lucky meaning at least 12/12/12 and cheap to power up. The second way is through normal trading. For trainers who are not best friends there are 2 more ways to get lucky. When trading Pokémon through normal trading, there is usually a 1% chance that a pokemon can become lucky. This is what daxi was referring to because notice I said usually. In this event for both becoming lucky friends and getting lucky pokemon through regular trades, the odds of those things happening has been boosted to about 10%. The last way is when trading a pokemon from 2018 or older. One in game mechanic is the older the pokemon is the higher chance it is the regular trade could go lucky. So once pokemon from 6 yrs ago and older of whichever year you’re in is traded, it is guaranteed that both pokemon traded become lucky pokemon. Hope this helps!

i know that usually a featured spawn means that the featured pokemon take up most of the encounters, but since this is an anniversery event, are these the ONLY pokemon spawning, or are there still other pokemon? just a quick question.

Am I the only one that sees this as a GIGANTIC miss from niantic, where the 8th anniversary event is based on the starters and could have released the GEN 8 STARTERS FOR THE 8TH ANNUVERSARY
Wow... What a shitty event. Not a single pokemon worth catching. Not a single bonus interesting. Not a single raid worth doing. So they want us to stop playing? Is that what it is? Legit a piece of mud with a party hat on? What a bad joke... And they didnt even bother to make bulba with party hat evolveable... Thanks for nothing Niantic. The only interesting part is when it finaly ends.
This is a lousy video being hastily produced with so many incorrect information and uses last years information to tell us which is not the case for this event. Telling us to look for the pinned information for actual events. If this is the case, we may as well look into Lee Duck events for the correct information. This video is just created just to earn money by us viewing. Will not be seeing his future videos as other content creators produced actual events. I think all viewers should take this stand to teach him a lesson
