8TURN (에잇턴) - "TIC TAC" + "EXCEL" MV | REACTION 

I love 8Turn, one of my friends wasn't a huge fan of TicTac but loved every other song on the album. They have a very... bright/sassy energy that I love

So since 8turn only debuted in January of this year, we aren't sure about a lot of their music and whatnot, but we can tell they're very dance focused (they've released a lot of INCREDIBLE dance covers) and that yes, they want to be a symbol of youth - this is also shown from the members as well since they are all VERY young and are VERY caught up with young slang and relate a lot to the youth of these days (said from an 17 year old: this is shown in all their tiktoks and lives). I think they sing like 60% live and their biggest impressive thing is that they're EXTREMELY in sync (like The Boyz and Seventeen level in sync, I'm not even kidding). The members: [Kind of Positions? My take on it] Jaeyun (7:12): Leader, lead vocalist, and dancer. He has a noticeable deep voice and is often the center. Former YG trainee and has been training for a while. He's from New Zealand and he was born in 2002. Myungho (7:49): Main vocalist, main dancer. He's the oldest member (born 2001) and he's Korean. He has a lot of duality and stage presence during performances (and real life). Minho (6:49): Lead Vocalist, lead dancer, has a lot of lines and is also often in the center. He's very funny and is kind of the mom of the group. He's Korean and was born in 2002. He says he has an interest in composing. Yoonsung (9:22): Vocalist. He doesn't get a lot of lines or screen time, but he's very charismatic during promotions and loves girl group dances (he's the mood maker). He's Korean and was born in 2003. Haemin (8:33): Vocalist and sub rapper. He has a deep voice and is very versatile in performance. He also doesn't get a lot of lines, but he has a very deadpan humour and is also entertaining during promotions. He's Korean and born in 2004. Kyungmin (6:56): Vocalist and dancer. He's a very charismatic performer and is the tallest member (6'1). He was on I-Land (the show that created Enyphen). He's extremely introverted. He's Korean and born in 2004. Yungyu (8:51): Lead rapper, lead dancer. He's very charismatic and is often center as well. He loves to write music and compose music so he'll probably make music for the group in the future. He's Korean and born in 2005. Seungheon (8:04): Main rapper, lead dancer, maknae. He has a very deep voice for his age and is very energetic while dancing. He also writes and produces a lot of music for himself. He's Korean and is a VERY young 2007 born. This is kind of all we know but they have a variety show and A LOT of content that they put out. They seem to have quite a bit of free reign when it comes to their social media and what they do, so that's very cool. They're very entertaining and I'd say VERY talented for a rookie group. I suggest watching their cover of Crazy by 4Minute to see their vocals and dance.

Same here! I like Tic Tac and I like Excel even more. My favorite song from them gotta be "Heartache" from their debut mini tho.

The members’ ages range from 2001 to 2007. The leader Jaeyun is from New Zealand and Kyungmin was a contestant on I-land. I didn’t care too much about tictac when it came out but excel has to be one of my favourite releases of 2023 so far. They are absolutely hilarious off stage, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a group that random and that is saying something.

In my opinion, I prefer Tic Tac more even though the M/V was kinda all over the place. Jaeyun the leader is my bias.
