I got a phone like this year, and everyone in my old school had a phone and I was so embarrassed, but tbh I don’t think an 8 year old girl needs one, not to be rude of anything. But when she gets older, she definitely deserves one cause she’s so sweet. ;) love you guys!

All of my friends had a cell phone and I always felt left out. They had like a iPhone 7 plus. I got a iPhone 6 after a while. As soon as I felt like I was blending in they all got upgrades at the same time on purpose. They all got a iPhone X. It really bothered me. But it doesn't anymore. I'm just grateful that I even have a phone. Also I love how calm Olivia was with the whole situation. ♥

Why does an 8 year old need a phone anyway? Just because their friends have one doesn’t mean they need one. They also need to study not spend hours on electronics. It’s also a very big responsibility. I’m not judging but I don’t think an eight year old can look after an 1000 pound item. It’s not very safe

Well, I didn't get a cellphone until I was 16, but I never really found it to be that necessary before then. This was back in the Myspace and MSN days when I would just message my friends on there XD haha I would say though that if she only really wants a phone for communication purposes with you, then there is no reason why she should be spending $900, especially on her very first phone. A basic android one would be perfectly fine, no?
