Yeah, I was laughing and floored as well. Hahaha@ Yeah, so I checked out other guys bottoms!!!😅😅 Too cute!! I started in high school checking out guys in general!!😅😅😅
It's funny because this was the exact road I went down 😅😭 "I'm a really strong ally with lots of queer friends!" ... "Umm actually it seems I'm just queer"
@@elliesart_ LITERALLY my pipeline was: homophobic (after my parents) -> an ally -> an ally knowing lots of queer friends -> "yeah I'm just checking out my best friend's legs 'cause she told me to, she works out a lot and she's flexing" -> oh.
I don't think he didn't notice 😄 until this point in the conversation, he avoids using pronouns, saying things like "Eddie knows this person". He was trying to slip in the *"he"* and be casual about it, but he was obviously anxious and on his guard for the moment when Maddie would catch on.
Better than Eddie hypocritically teasing Buck for such a fast breakup when Eddie goes through girlfriends at an impressive rate and seems to break up with them usually over just one single issue (e.g. Marisol having nearly become a nun in the past).
Its so funny you can see Maddie is freaking out on the inside but is trying not to show it. The look on her face when she says "Wow" was like yeah this kinda makes sense and explains a lot.
Before the acronym got too long, gay guys often used masculine and feminine pronouns interchangeably just for the fun of it. It's apparently become a much more sensitive issue in recent times.
Ok!! Ok!! He says; "He" left me outside from in front of the restaurant!! And she says; what is the pronoun of your description here!!😅😅😅 I was laughing so hard!!😅😅
The writers of both those shows have a mutual acquaintance who talked shop with both of them on scripts years ago, so it is cool to see someone notice.
Out of all the hilarious scenes in this episode, this is the best one ... and I can´t stop watching it. This and a deep plunge into AO3 will be gettin me to the next episode ... man, I have too much free time
It's a rewind to the time when Chimney was trying to find the lost ring and accusing everyone of stealing it. But not Buckley because he's a crappy liar 😂😂😂
Idk why Maddie seemed surprised. I always got the feeling that she somehow knew 🤣 with all the comments she makes to buck throughout the series came off like she knows something he doesn’t.
I think deep down she knows but is still shocked to find out. It probably won’t show it but i could totally see Maddie thinking about this convo and realizing that she’s known all along but didn’t think about it
Oh she totally knew, the surprise was Buck finally having some awareness too. And then she realises "nope, still a dumbass"... "Didn't know that's where your interests would lie" is totally "you actually like Eddie, lil bro"
I think she sort of knew/suspected Buck was bi (hence the teasing), but she didn't know if he would ever actually try dating a guy, and certainly wasn't expecting the revelation at that particular moment. So she's surprised momentarily.
Ok buck sit down please... and ally is when you are ok with and support something not when you are a part of something. BUT its ok we understand take your time to figure it out
Buck saying that checking out a hof guys ass is normal and then realising what it actually means is exactly like when I had planned out my whole life as a guy and when my mum questioned it i was like "hypothetically obviously! Everyone does that" and she had to very gently explain that that's not actually something you'd do when you're happy with the gender you're born
This is so realistic and how it goes for us. You're petrified and anxious and excited all at the same time yet your family and society have instilled so so much fear that, you cannot simply move past it in the beginning. I love this show and how they are dealing with it.
I’m actually curious about how Chimney will react to Buck and Tommy. After all, he knew Tommy first and he’s been friends with him the longest. So either he’s going to be a little jealous or he’s going to tease the bejeezus out of Buck and Tommy.
I can't help but to think Maddie's 'Wow' wasn't at the fact that he said he was on a date with a guy, but the fact that the guy wasn't Eddie and she was shocked lol
More then an ally now, ur part of the community Buck. I think Buck and other adults who discover a new side to themselves. Should date more, before settling down for just 1. Maybe an open relation (e.g. Brian and Justin from Queer as Folk), or something. Cause, this is, a new side, that needs to b explored.
B: i mean, sure, I’ll check out a hot guys ass, but that’s normal. M: uh, (flips hair) its, its not abnormal. --- Maddie finishing this scene with “So, tell me more about the hot pilot.”
