I was at work at A&W and we were oblivious to anything until a regular asked what we thought about everything. Boss told me to go home and get a radio. Biked home and back and the rest of the day was spent in silent shock.
the wind would blow northward days afterwards and you could smell it on the upper east side... not the jetfuel, but something else... which will remain unsaid out of respect for the victims
I had just gotten to my 2nd class of the morning when the 1st plane hit. All the rest of the day every teacher was like we ain't gonna do any regular class work, we all watched tv that day. I think maybe 1 teacher might have put in a movie to try to distract us all but obviously we were all in shock & mad & sad.
Yeah thanks to these fuckers I can't see a plane's cockpit during a flight anymore. How am I supposed to hijack a plane and show the pilot my sick skills now?
I was woken up by my hysterical girlfriend telling me that something terrible had happened in the city. When I got to the living room, my mind failed to understand what I was looking at. Some kind of terrible accident, maybe? Then the other plane hit.
