I had a man bring in his bike with "disk breaks that don't seem to be working"..... He'd attached a toothbrush to his frame and forks to "clean the dirt and debris from his brake rotors" while he rides.
*Some missed parts.. red reflector. No kick leg, the one in picture I got it separately. **Latest.Bike** Was easy to assembly. Instructions are clear. Very good idea to take it to a bike shop for tune up. If you have tools, knowledge and time easy to make it ready for a ride.*
Only 2.5 good tips here. Let me explain: 1.Even some industrially made holder will let your flashlight fall. Plus: heat your cutter with a lighter and kiss it goodbye, the blade is blunt! Scotch tape, really? 2.The water bottle will stay only if the bike does not move. 3.Money in the handlebar pipe? Carry a hook with you to take it out. 4.Keys hanging on brake cable: sooner or later will be lost, the bike will be scratched, the ride will have a nice "rattle" sound. If you stop at the grocery store, will you remember to take your keys with you? Plus, do this a dozen times and your brake cable will be damaged. 5.Toothebrushes to clean the chain, that is interesting, I'll try. I am using old socks now. 6.Visa and PET to make it sound loud, kids might like it, but the spokes will not. Me, I hate to glue things to my bike. 7.WD40 will dissolve old grease and clean the cassette, but it is NOT greasing! Use chain oil after it dries. 8.Anything tucked under the saddle will stay for a while, I tried. Then it will fall. 9.A shower cap to keep the saddle dry is really a good idea.
Do not attach ANYTHING EVER to your brake or derailleur cables! This can't be stressed enough! Professional bicycle mechanic here and I can not stress it enough, don't do it.
Good job, you can replace your brake discs and brake pads after spraying that much of lubricant with absolute no precaution. And putting weight on the cables will pull the brakes on every bumps. You guys are genius !
Wd-40 is a better solvent than lubricant. So it will wash lubrication out of the chain, leaving the wear points dry and increase chain wear. There are many better ways than wd-40 to care for the chain, cassette, and derailleurs.
IMPORTANT!!!!!! Heads up. If you put your money in your bike it will get stuck. Put a string around it securely or just keep it in your piggy bank.,its not difficult
Darkforest Zombie if you ever seen 'easy rider' this is a good place to hide your stash. The trick is to fit hexagon bolt expanding bar end plugs for easy removal yet secure enough to be tamper proof from casual theft.
i would spray paint the bottle gray or black or sliver to look real like and exhaust i usually use water bottles under the back brakes or the front handelbar shocks to make noise
Half of these things ruin your bike….. especially the one where you use toothbrush’s to clean the chains, that’s actually bad because then there won’t be any oil to keep it smooth.
Yes, all solutions are crappy enough. I buy everything for money that is factory and regular. For chain cleaning I use brake cleaning spray. It washes away all dirt quickly and evaporates quickly.
Don’t put wd-40 on your drive train it will damage the cassete and it’s a degreasers that will make your bike shit not as good in stead put chain lube the chain that’s made for bikes so your shifting is smoother!
As we all know, Wang Wengeng brutally punished the "Mang Liuzzi" with violent means in September last year. He is unforgivable by the law and social justice, which will bring him the condemnation of motility and punishment of the law. But for Guo Wengui, Wang Wengeng was"holding the gun to support Guo." In addition, he invested G Group more than 200 thousand dollars. Frankly speaking, he was dead set on following Guo. What's more, Guo Wengui promised he would pledge for Wang Wengeng and provide lawyers and litigation expenses, no matter how much it costs. But Guo Wengui ate his words from the beginning. Not only did he not gave Wang Wengeng any help, but he took Wang's investment money for himself. Therefore, it is natural and reasonable that Wang Wengeng left Guo angrily after seeing him through. And It is Cheater Guo's responsibility. Guo should have stepped back and avoided confronting Wang with pressing movement. Let alone the claim"punch Wang to be unconscious." He didn't make sense and still wanted to blame others. Such a ruffian can only make Wang Wengeng take desperate measures.Recently, Wang Wengeng has indicated that he is willing to provide evidence to support the lawsuit against Guo Wengui. In short, wang Wengeng is not unkind, but Guo Wengui is too unjust. Moreover, Wang was one of the leaders of the "Punish the enemies by law" movement. His awareness and rebellion are bound to be a great shock to the Ant Gang. Thus it can be seen that Guo Wengui burned the bridge that he must cross.
Hey your 5 idea works better with an aluminum can 1 crush the aluminum can in the middle. 2 the indented side on the rear wheel look that it does not slip through and then you have the best sound quality
Regarding that credit card trick to sound like a motor... As kids, we often attaching playing cards with close pins and they made a sound when the spokes smacked against them. But I found a better method. I would blow up an oblong balloon (not a round one) so it was maybe about 4 inches diameter and a foot long and tie it a rear stay at each end. When the spokes smacked against it, it made a very convincing motor sound (vastly better than the cards). You might think it would break right away. But the balloon held up for probably a half mile of riding or so.
If you're going to mount things using a homemade mount, mount the mount with zip ties or grip tape. Cello tape will fall off the first, and I do mean first, time it gets wet.
That is where I would stash my bag of weed back in the late 70s early 80s when buying weed in a park in los Angeles just in case the cops stopped me on my way out of the park.
I wouldn't point a can of wd-40 directly at my disc brake calipers and rotors and expect them to function again. In fact, you'd be well advised to keep wd-40 far away from anything on your bike. Jus' sayin'
@@StaggerLee68 I don't care I sprayed it on an unrideable old mountain bike chain and it was enough to make it ride smoothly for dozens of miles at a time. Can't tell me it didn't work because it did, sure a new chain and better lube would be ideal.
@@desmondstephen9942 Ok, sorry, I do understand now. On a town bike maybe, in a jam... I get it. Even still, it is a sorta fix that is not kind on the current. And yea, new chain day is sweet.
a problem that can be sorted with money is not a problem but a cost. you almost emptied a 10 dls WD 40 can on that free wheel. Silly as. the tooth brush one is excellent idea though as i can use my used ones.
Mountain Biking makes your chain filthy almost every time. I clean it every time and lube it. Finish line degreaser + Muc - Off Wet/Dry Lube will do your bike wonders!
The grease turns into a grinding paste that causes premature wear if you don't clean the chain frequently. The bike also becomes less efficient and requires noticably more effort to pedal if you keep the same grease on after multiple rides.
Some are trash, some even dangerous. The only okayish ideas were the last two. But hey, carry a pack of wipes to wipe your fingers. And put a plastic bag over your saddle to prevent it from getting wet. Congratyoufugginlations.
The only thing that would actually work is the toothbrush chain cleaner. I use toothbrushes sometimes when I don’t have a proper chain brush. Also just the fact he still has the dork disc on his bike forgoes any of the other points made in this entire video. Who actually still has a dork disc on a bike when they know what their doing. This basically just means he is incompetent.
The only good idea is the note in the handlebar which is still pointless though if you have a wallet or zip pocket but would be good for hiding joints from cops.
