Thank you very much for the review, Danny. I appreciate how you go right to the point when wearing the backpack and from all sides. Since it's difficult to visualize how big the bag is and what it looks like when you carry it, that's the one thing I really like to see from bag reviews. Great work!

Thank you so much for the review, you just go straight to the main point and I love how you wear the backpack and show from all angles! That's the one thing that I really like to see from bag review since it's hard to imagine how big the bag is and how it looks like when you carry it. Much appreciated for all the efforts!

In researching some of the bags you feature, and saying they are compatible with international airlines, the web sites for these rate them at 18" high/tall which is over the limit for many int'l airlines in which most max out at 17", many at 16" and a rare few at 15"

Thank you for watching and definitely a fair point! It’s always tough to give recommendations based on the airline dimensions (which are the Safeway guideline) so I try to share the ones I’ve had personal experience carrying on even if the dimensions are a little over the listed ones

The Timbuk2 is a handsome bag but it's heavy, stiff, and far smaller than it looks. I have one and don't use it any more. Its biggest problem is that the laptop compartment is about 3-inches deep with thick padding that takes space away from the main compartment. Forget the liters mentioned in the video. The main compartment has only about 12 liters. The straps are also poorly designed and don't rest on the shoulders, making the bag uncomfortable to carry.

It's really hard to see the bags 1. Bc lighting is not great 2. Bc all the bags are black. Fixing 1 or both would really help your videos

Every damn backpack reviewer makes this mistake lol. I get it they like black backpacks but can they not select a different color for the review? Or if black is the only option available in the backpack, at least use significantly better lighting!

Thank you for watching and great call out! I haven’t had a chance to check that one out, but it seems like another solid alternative

Between the solgaard, Nomatic, and the Knack pack, which would be the winner as far as international travel for business? I will have another roller luggage carry on to supplement. Thanks
@dannypacks
@dannypacks Год назад
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! I think the nomatic is the most durable and comfortable of the 3, but I would maybe lean towards the knack pack because I like the more professional look and the pocket layout and it’s also lighter than the nomatic bag
@shanecavette3716
@shanecavette3716 Год назад
Thanks for the response, i appreciate it. I’m leaning more towards the knack pack as well due to the same reasons you mentioned. Does the Aer travel Pack 3 make it into the discussion or is the winner still knack pack?
@dannypacks
@dannypacks Год назад
@@shanecavette3716 glad to help! I would take the aer travel pack over all those options as I really like the look, comfort, and durability more. The main drawback is that it doesn’t expand / compress in the same way the knack pack does so it might feel a little big for daily use (the travel pack 3 small is a pretty good daily size but might start to feel a little tight for travel depending on how you pack)

I was expecting to see the Black Ember Forge Max in this list which seems to be a very good hybrid backpack with expandable capabilities. How does it compares to the ones in your list as I think you may have tested it earlier?
@dannypacks
@dannypacks Год назад
Thank you for watching and that’s definitely another great option! I almost included that and the mystery ranch 3 way briefcase as they are very solid bags overall, for my preferences I gravitate towards bags that have more of a standard backpack layout vs a shoulder bag that can be worn as a backpack which is how the forge is laid out but it is a great bag with nice organization, a comfortable harness and can hold an impressive amount when expanded

@@dannypacks Thanks Danny for your response…I’m found of these type of backpacks having the Nomatic 20-30L and as well the Wandrd Prvke.

Peak Designs full size travel backpack didn’t make the cut??
@dannypacks
@dannypacks Год назад
Thank you for watching! The peak design travel backpack is definitely impressive as far as feature and design but I’ve never been a fan of the harness and it’s also one of the heavier options, and when expanded it really starts to push the limits of what can be carried onto a flight imo
@zackwool
@zackwool Год назад
You’re saying that it’s uncomfortable under a load? Do you find it uncomfortable to carry when not expanded out…or does the uncomfort come only when you’re really maxing out the bag? And when it is loaded heavily does the hip belt not help as well as it should? Thanks man!
