So the gist of this section is: 1- Speak like you are sharing your notions. 2- Don't baffle while speaking, make your mind relax and heed on the question type. 3- Precise answers (to the point in front of speaker) will give you the desired band. 4- Don't variate in your speaking, this will derail you. One more request, do a session with him on reading and writing part too.
I got my result today. And considering I sat on IELTS without any sort of preparation, I am quite satisfied with my result. This was the first ever IELTS attempt I made and that too without preparation L = 8.5 S = 7.5 W = 7 R = 7 Overall = 7.5 Although my speaking was good and I was expecting around 8 - 8.5 but anyhow still it isn't bad Writing is something where it's most difficult to get 7 or above, mostly people end up scoring low on writing so considering I scored 7 without any preparation. I am satisfied with that

Most people think it's all about vocabulary and relevance to the topic doesn't matter much but the later also matters a lot. They want to know how effectively you can cover a specific topic and how pragmatic one can be in communicating ideas/thoughts with precision
