The Humble Penny hey hey! Nice video you have there! Since we are on the same topic; have you ever tried " Vidadsmedia Real income "? (try googling it)? My colleague had some dealings with them and was impressed by their incredible treatment when they shared their experience about generating passive income !
how do I get people to buy from my amazon links? They have emailed me and said unless I get 3 sales off my associate links they are going to delete my account.
You can rent out a room: oh you need to own a house. You can have RU-vid channel: oh imagine you have 10 million views. You can invest in stocks: oh you need to have a capital....
@@Moira_Gloucestershire Everybody starts somewhere. I know people that started their RU-vid channels this year and already have over 2K subscribers with tonnes of views. Imagine the revenue from Amazon links etc. Don't knock it till you tried it.
Hi i just wanted to say this video is fantastic value and I can see it you are generally trying to help people, No fancy jet, no flexing and messing about, just general, helpful, valuable knowledge thank you very much sir.
keep them coming, the UK base advice is so welcomed, given youtube is filled with US content. What are your views on BRASS pension, is it a good form of investment for those in the Rail industry
As a rail worker of 16 years, at one time part qualified financial advisor, I personally max my brass contributions. I won't advise you personally as I'm not qualified but it is one of the better pensions out there for employees in my opinion. Whatever that is worth! The only downside to me is the lack of control you get over your invested money in a pension versus personal investment. You are immediately getting tax relief at 20% or 40% depending on your tax rate. To earn that on personal investment without big risk is in my mind hard to do.
However something to consider, a friend invests in various vanguard funds via an isa to the tune of £20k a year. This is also tax free. Last 4 years he tells me, his investment is up 18%! He has full control of that asset!! However he invests from take home pay that has already been taxed before invest in the isa. I receive 40% tax relief on brass contributions and they can perform 'well' after that all without tax! If you have access to brass I would say you are fortunate compared to most of the working population, just my opinion.
Fantastic video creation. Your giving out alot of great value in this video and people need to take heed as so many people rely one source of income. These ideas you give are simple to start it just time and consistency that's needed. Love your videos great benefit
What's stopping me from going down the passive income route is how to work out the tax payable, not being very internet savvy ( it takes a long time for me to learn anything) and having the money available to do course to learn. I work 6 days per week at the moment and occasionally make £1 or £2 sporadically making and selling craft projects which I do save. However, all the income I have from my main job goes on basic necessities such as rent, council tax, utilities and food leaving nothing left. I have cut back my expenses to the bare bones but still need a second income. I feel it's a catch 22 situation at the moment. I want to be able to have a passive income I can do anywhere in the world as I want to have my own income to be able to travel abroad and have my own income when living in another country.
Watch out for the passive income video I'm releasing today called "21 Passive Income Ideas For A Freedom Lifestyle". It will help you better know what to explore next.
At the beginning of lockdown, I had the bright idea of stock photography as a good passive income. It seems I was 15 years behind the curve. The best you can hope for is about 400 quid per year. May as well not bother.
Check this out: Thehumblepenny.com/passiveincome You need to work hard but it is more guaranteed and you can create consistent passive income over time :)
As always, a great video, thank you Ken 🙏🏻 I achieved my goal of paying off rental property mortgages in 6 years from purchase on a very modest income. Strict budgeting, amortisation spreadsheets, a very understanding partner and keeping my goal alive, daily, over those 6 years, was the key to me being able to achieve this. Now that I've been able to retire early, I'm keen to increase my passive income. I've some fear to overcome in setting up a website and beginning a blog - how do I make it professional enough and provide quality and consistent content is always to the fore of my mind. But, I know that 'I have to be in it to win it' and start with good planning. Then my goal is to begin a RU-vid channel. Like you were Ken, I am video camera shy, so overcoming this is a necessity. Thank you so much for all your content - so much food for thought.
Congratulations on achieving your goals 😊. Pleased to hear it. If you need help with your blogging and RU-vid side of things, I can help. You can either book some coaching here: thehumblepenny.com/coaching Or Learn from all our online business courses etc and get coaching too from us at Financial Joy Academy: FinancialJoyAcademy.com
@@TheHumblePenny thanks Ken. I’ve just become a member of Financial Joy Academy. I can’t wait to absorb the courses contents, expand my networks, hopefully have a positive impact on other members and start new businesses to generate passive income. Exciting 😊
@@TheHumblePenny I am glad I took the decision to become a Financial Joy Academy member; the detailed content is just what I'm looking for to give me focus, understand what business is best for me, receive coaching and engaging with a network of like minded people. 🙏
Thank you. So we are looking to rent out our curreny flat later this year and move into a our parents' 1st home which is almost mortgage free. Will then try & save up for the next propery. May even be tempted to invest abroad, i.e. Turkey to avoid taxes, stamp duty etc.
Nice content! I don’t find myself necessarily super skilled in one area, however I’m passionate about digital marketing and discussing about it. I’m planning to start a blog with topics related to SEO, content marketing etc then turn the content into youtube video and podcast for more exposure. What do you think of this idea? Should I rather find a more niche industry to talk about rather than broad digital? Thanks
Passive money that I am getting is managing properties for other landlords. I have become a letting agent and its very stressful. I am looking to pack it in. Tenants are energy vampires.
I first of all spent 10 years managing and growing my own portfolio. I then offered those skills as a service to my friends. Word spread and now strangers call me with new business.
Interesting that none of the passive income streams mention multi-level or network marketing, which many view as pyramid schemes. Can you please do a video to address this? Thank you and God bless :-)
Great content and even it is even better that it is UK based as I am also based in UK (London) and also being someone that has a lot of ideas in creating ways of generating an online PASSIVE income is definitely a passion of mine. Thanks for putting this together. There is definitely value in this video and it has definitely given me some idea's for content on my channel. Stay Blessed. Oli
Hello, I can refer you to my investment portfolio manager who has been managing my investments for the past 9 months and generating good passive income for me
Great video. But a lot of these ideas aren't passive income per se (eg blogging, youtube) as they require active creation from yourself. Agree re BTL, investing etc. Very good ideas though for a side hussle. Thank you.
Thanks! Blogging and RU-vid become partially passive from older content that then generates an income month after month. This video that you commented on is a good example.
Brilliant! Great to hear. What kinda stuff do you buy and sell? I read a White Paper recently that said that 25% of all UK adults now have a Side Hustle. Good to see this becoming a thing.
Regarding properties, I'd like to ask if there are other means of raising capital for the deposit, credit cards, bank loans etc.. would the banks accept this method of capital for the deposits? I've heard stories where people have raised capital without using their own money.
Hey Ken , as a UK person . would you recommend opening a youtube channel and adsense account under personal name or a pvt ltd company . also would you know if u can operate 2 channels under same email account
Hi Sajid Very good question. I run mine under a Limited Company. I'd personally suggest that. I don't believe you can run 2 channels under 1 email address.
@@TheHumblePenny when you say limited company, do you mean to register with HMRC. Our channel is still new and obviously we're not generating any income from it so do we need to register it. Thank you.

do you pay tax on it? this is what is stopping me from doing the many passive incomes i know of. I just moved to the uk so i don't know how paying tax works but when i started generating a really good amount of passive income i got worried that after i have spent the money i may be called in to pay tax as the company says i am to sort it out myself?
The Humble Penny hi firstly thanks for replying. Just further information on how to start the affiliate item you mentioned please. I’m not very technologically minded. I have sorted some things to sell already. And I’m unsure where would be best to try and sell them. I would but ally take everything to a charity shop.
Hello, is there any chances to realise any of online business ideas for someone who is not 100% fluent English? I mean i would love doing blogging and all but still I think for that I really need good carry really good English literature . Also really liked the idea of renting out a spare room, but since i don't own any property it would not be possible, or is there any other ways around? l don't think if it's clever as for someone like me to take loans to buy properties to rent them, afraid of such financial burdens. Overall really love your ideas and find them really inspiring, just sady i feel some wall in front of me due to my language barrier and nationality.
Honestly, for English not being your first language, you're writing isn't too bad at all. You can still blog, but I'd recommend using a digital writing assistance tool like Grammarly, to correct any errors in your writing. Hope this helps.

Hello, and thank you for the video. I hope you are well. I don't want to comment again, but I was just wondering if this really worked. I am trying to make £3,000 to pay for some dental treatment. I would be super grateful for some help, and it would change my life like you would not believe.
The Humble Penny in what range would you expect as a passive income from investing 10k average 😂iknow you can’t give me an accurate figure just a thought
@@UltraJamZHD i am investigating the same idea. Using trader212. Its hard, because you need to do a lot of research before you can start investing. I suggest install Udemy and look for free classes on the basics (did that already) then play with 1000 to learn the concept. Still worried that its too easy to loose on the wrong economy, would say not good as main income unless u are a genius
