Blob is from a series called Boners & Blobs. Blob is a kinetic sculpture which levitates and spins in a concentrated state. It is an abstraction derived from the idea of charred remains of organic material, and its life cycle of survival, spark and combustion. This series abstracts the primal nature of light and darkness. Blob is a physical manifestation and allegory for the inner and outer human senses (the inner wits: imagination, fantasy, estimation, common sense and memory; and the outer senses: taste, touch, sight, smell, sound.)
