Ohh, who would’ve thought we’d have so much in common! I read a lot of finance and psychology books too. And YES to putting your phone away and using a real alarm clock! It’s a game changer. YES to outsourcing jobs to save us time. Time is more valuable than money! I agree with so many of the points you made. We invest in our kids’ private education and experiences as well. Travel is our biggest splurge. Sounds like you and your family had a wonderful time at Disney. 💗 Of course, the Lululemon belt bag is perfect for Disney. 👍 Love that a fellow RU-vidr is sharing this type of content. 👏 Watched til the very end. xx

Thanks for this!❤ I have been doing all these with my money since the 90s except for the keeping physical notes. I usually keep it in my head.😅 I think it’s time to get a notebook and I am thinking of the Hermes one😂😂😂 I am reaching 60 soon and learning to slow down and enjoy every experience and being able reflect has been something I have started to do since 2020. @@Emmaanders I bet but like you said, putting the mobile down 1 hour before sleeping is so much better for you anyway. I noticed that I have developped a difficulty in reading novels due to this dopamine scrolling. I used to "eat" books as a kid and I want to get back into this caling habit xx

Emma, have you read Psychology of Money (Housel) and The Simple Path to Wealth (Collins)? I highly recommend both! SPW is a game changer and THE book I recommend for achieving financial independence (not necessarily retire early, bc I want to keep my brain healthy and active)
